Lebois & Co has been quietly building its modern identity around vintage proportion, restrained detail and a very clear fondness for traditional watchmaking codes.
The new Heritage Atelier Small Seconds models sharpen that idea with two highly textured dials made with Swiss specialist GT Cadrans, one rooted in classical decoration and the other in Dutch culinary memory.
It’s a charming split personality for a compact dress watch, and it gives the revived marque one of its most distinctive releases so far.

Two dials with very different references
The Clous de Paris model is the more familiar of the pair, using one of watchmaking’s most established decorative patterns.
Its field of tiny pyramids is produced through a CNC diamond-cutting process that gives the dial a guilloché-like sharpness, then finished galvanically with a 24-carat gold solution for a warm rose-gold tone.
The Stroopwafel version takes a more personal route.
Its dial recreates the woven texture of the Dutch caramel-filled waffle, using fine laser engraving and a caramel-toned galvanic finish to turn a playful idea into a surprisingly serious piece of dial work.
Under changing light, both dials are designed to reveal texture rather than simply display colour, which is exactly where GT Cadrans’ involvement becomes important.
A vintage dress watch format kept compact
Both Heritage Atelier watches follow the proportions introduced with the Heritage Small Seconds line.
The stainless steel case is brushed and polished, with a double-domed sapphire crystal, a transparent screwed caseback and 50 metres of water resistance.
On the dial side, the design is intentionally classical.
Applied Breguet-style numerals, polished leaf-shaped hands, a railroad-style minute track and a recessed small seconds register at 6 o’clock give the watches a mid-century feel without making them look like costume pieces.
The case measures 38.7mm across and 45.5mm lug to lug, which places it in the sweet spot for a modern dress watch with vintage manners.
The chronometer-rated LC-350 movement
Inside is the Lebois & Co calibre LC-350, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW360-1.
It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 31 jewels and carries COSC chronometer certification.
The 56-hour power reserve is practical for a watch of this style, especially for owners who rotate pieces through the week.
The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, keeping the watch aligned with the expectations of collectors who want more than a closed-case vintage tribute.
