Seiko’s 145th anniversary continues with two new limited editions in the Presage collection, each taking a very different route through the brand’s dress-watch vocabulary.
The pair includes the HCC007 with a cobalt blue Arita porcelain dial and the HCC004, a smaller 36mm model with a white radial dial accented in Seiko blue.
The cobalt blue Arita porcelain HCC007
The HCC007 is the more immediately striking of the two, using an Arita porcelain dial finished in a deep blue glaze associated with traditional Japanese porcelain.

Seiko has used Arita porcelain in Presage before, but this blue tone is new to the collection and gives the watch a richer, more contemporary presence than the familiar white enamel and porcelain-adjacent dress pieces.
The dial is shaped with a sunken center and a raised outer section, a detail intended to emphasize the depth of the glazed surface rather than simply treating the porcelain as a flat decorative material.
A new case and Seiko’s long-running 6R platform
The HCC007 comes in a newly designed case measuring just under 40mm across, 12.8mm thick and 46.8mm lug to lug, putting it in a versatile zone between formal and everyday wear.

Inside is Seiko’s 6R51 automatic movement, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and gives the watch a practical weekend-proof specification beneath its craft-focused exterior.
Production is limited to 1,500 pieces, with retail pricing set at $1,700 and availability planned through Seiko retailers in July.
The 36mm HCC004 leans into classic dress-watch proportions
The HCC004 takes a quieter approach with a white dial inspired by shironeri, a Japanese tone of white associated with purity and new beginnings.

Its radial dial texture, blue markers and matching hands give the watch a crisp, formal character, while the hobnail-style bezel adds a deliberately old-world touch.
At 36mm, the HCC004 is likely to appeal to collectors who have been waiting for Presage to embrace smaller, more traditional proportions without feeling like a vintage recreation.
Price, production and the Presage appeal
The HCC004 also uses the 6R51 automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve, and it will be produced in a larger run of 2,500 pieces.

Pricing is set at $1,000, with availability expected in June.
Together, these two anniversary Presage models show Seiko working at two different speeds, one expressive and craft-forward, the other restrained and classically sized.
For collectors who usually look first to Prospex, this is a timely reminder that Presage remains one of Seiko’s most interesting places for dial work, wearable proportions and accessible mechanical watchmaking.
