Panerai has introduced the Radiomir Bronzo PAM00760 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Eilean, the 1936 Bermudian ketch built by Fife of Fairlie and restored as one of the brand’s most recognizable nautical touchpoints.
The choice feels unusually coherent for a commemorative watch, because the PAM00760 leans into bronze, acrylic, leather and hand-wound mechanics rather than a decorative anniversary badge.
A 47mm bronze case made to change
The case measures 47mm, echoing the scale of the 1935 Radiomir prototype linked to Panerai’s early military instruments.

Panerai uses a proprietary bronze alloy of pure copper and pure tin, giving the watch a warm golden tone when new and a surface that will darken through contact with air, humidity, heat, friction and salt water.
A titanium screw-down case back helps manage the weight and adds a contrasting view through sapphire, while water resistance is rated to 10 bar, or roughly 100 metres.
A shaded green dial under domed acrylic
The dial uses a grainy green dégradé finish, brighter at the centre and deeper around the edge, giving the watch a clear maritime character without becoming theatrical.

Beige Super-LumiNova fills the Arabic numerals and hour markers, glowing green in low light, while the burnished blue steel hands bring a functional historic note to the display.
Panerai fits a domed acrylic crystal in keeping with early Radiomir dive watches, and each watch is delivered with a spare crystal plus one complimentary replacement through authorised Panerai boutiques.
The P.3000 calibre keeps the rhythm slow and sturdy
Inside is the hand-wound P.3000 calibre, produced at Panerai’s manufacture in Neuchâtel and built on a large 16½ ligne architecture well suited to the broad Radiomir case.

Two barrels in series deliver a 72-hour power reserve, with the movement running at 21,600 vibrations per hour and using 21 jewels, a Glucydur balance and Incabloc shock protection.
A quick-set hour function lets the wearer move the hour hand forward or backward in one-hour steps without disturbing the minute hand, a useful feature for travel and regatta weekends.
Eilean returns to the classic racing circuit
Eilean’s 2026 season began in Viareggio on 15 May after its relaunch at Cantiere del Carlo, with appearances scheduled for Les Voiles d’Antibes, Argentario Sailing Week, Puig Vela Clàssica Barcelona, Regata Illes Balears Clàssics and Les Régates Royales de Cannes.

The Radiomir Bronzo PAM00760 is priced at £16,800 in the United Kingdom and €19,500 in Germany, paired with a dark brown rolled calf leather strap, beige stitching and a trapezoidal bronze pin buckle.
This is a Panerai for someone who wants visible ageing rather than permanent polish, a large hand-wound Radiomir that should gain character with every season near the water.
