Armin Strom has introduced a more celestial take on one of its most technically distinctive watches with the Dual Time GMT Resonance Aventurine, a 10-piece limited edition in stainless steel.
The watch keeps the collection’s dual-time architecture and twin regulating organs, but gives the dial side a deeper, more atmospheric character through two aventurine time displays.
A compact steel case built around two time zones
The case measures 39mm across, 9.05mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug, which is restrained for a watch carrying two independent time indications and a resonance mechanism.

Armin Strom’s familiar lip at 6 o’clock remains, while sapphire crystals on the front and back keep the mechanical construction fully visible.
Two crowns sit at 4 and 8 o’clock, allowing each time zone to be adjusted independently, with day and night indications integrated into both displays.
Aventurine gives the GMT layout a night sky effect
The twin sub-dials are cut from deep blue aventurine, with metallic inclusions that shift under light and give the watch its strongest visual identity.

Black azurage chapter rings sharpen the displays, while rose gold-toned hands, applied indices and a rose gold-coloured mainplate add warmth against the darker dial elements.
The ARF22 movement remains the real draw
Inside is Armin Strom’s manually wound calibre ARF22, an in-house movement with 231 components, 40 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve.
Its two independent regulating systems are linked by the brand’s resonance clutch, a mechanism designed to synchronise the balance wheels and support more stable timekeeping.

The movement runs at 25,200 vibrations per hour, or 3.5Hz, and is finished with a mirror-polished resonance bridge, hand-bevelled edges, rhodium-coated components, black-polished details, perlage, circular graining and Côtes de Genève on the back.
A limited edition for the mechanically curious collector
The Dual Time GMT Resonance Aventurine is paired with a matte grey alligator strap and a stainless steel pin buckle.
Limited to 10 pieces and priced at CHF 105,000, it is aimed at collectors who want Armin Strom’s resonance watchmaking in a more expressive form without moving into an oversized case.
