Grand Seiko’s latest Evolution 9 model returns to one of the brand’s most evocative landscapes, but shifts the focus from greenery to water.
The Genbi Valley Hi-Beat SLGH035 uses a vivid turquoise dial to echo the fast-moving Iwai River in Iwate Prefecture, pairing the natural inspiration with one of Grand Seiko’s most technically significant automatic movements.
It also arrives with a practical update that collectors have been asking for, in the form of a revised bracelet with a micro-adjustment system.
