Renaud Tixier’s Monday Organica has always sat in that narrow space where independent watchmaking becomes almost illustrative.
After the blue edition introduced the idea last year, the collection now gains two final chapters in Black and Burgundy, each limited to just seven pieces.
Together, the three watches form a compact triptych built around precious metals, grand feu enamel and a movement architecture that rewards close looking.

At a glance
- Renaud Tixier has added Black and Burgundy editions to the Monday Organica, with each version limited to seven pieces.
- Both watches use grand feu enamel dials by Ateliers Olivier Vaucher with an engraved motif that blends plant forms and watchmaking components.
- The Black model is cased in platinum, the Burgundy in 5N rose gold, with pricing listed as price on request.
A darker close to the Monday Organica triptych
The two new references share the same silhouette, but their character changes sharply with the metal.
The Black edition uses platinum, giving the watch a cool brightness and a notable density on the wrist.
The Burgundy moves to 5N rose gold, bringing a warmer tone that suits the deeper red enamel dial.

Both cases measure 40.8mm in diameter and 10.5mm thick excluding the crystal, so these are not timid dress watches despite the refinement of their finishing.
The lugs are polished on top and brushed along the sides, while the caseband is hand-engraved with a frosted texture that gives the precious metal a more tactile, crafted quality.
Grand feu enamel with a botanical watchmaking language
The dials are produced in grand feu enamel by Ateliers Olivier Vaucher, with the Black and Burgundy tones giving the design two very different moods.

The engraved dial motif is where the Organica name becomes more than decoration.
Its pattern folds floral ideas into mechanical references, with small circular forms inspired by jewels and larger round elements evoking balance wheels.
The concept links the natural meaning of organic with the regulating organ of a mechanical watch, which is a neat piece of wordplay that also gives the design its internal logic.

Renaud Tixier’s colour sequence adds another layer.
Black represents roots and earth, blue suggests blossoms, and Burgundy stands for fruit, closing the cycle that began with the earlier blue edition.
The RVI2023 movement slows the rhythm
Inside is the Renaud Tixier calibre RVI2023, an automatic movement with a micro-rotor and a fly wheel intended to improve winding efficiency.

It runs at 18,000 vibrations per hour, or 2.5Hz, and offers a 60-hour power reserve.
That lower frequency gives the movement a more deliberate visual cadence than the 4Hz beat common in many contemporary mechanical watches.
In a watch like this, where the point is as much observation as timekeeping, being able to better appreciate the balance spring’s motion is part of the appeal.

They also neatly close the Monday chapter, leaving the brand’s next named project, Tuesday, with a difficult act to follow.
