Omega’s relationship with James Bond has lasted long enough to become part of the Seamaster’s own mythology.
Now the brand is widening that story with a new Seamaster Diver 300M collection that gives equal billing to 007 and Spectre, pairing familiar diving-watch hardware with two very different cinematic identities.
The result is a six-watch family built around the no-date Seamaster Diver 300M, including two stainless-steel models available individually and two limited sets that add platinum-gold executions to the mix.

At a glance
- Omega has introduced James Bond and Spectre editions of the Seamaster Diver 300M, marking Spectre’s first dedicated appearance in this format.
- The individually available steel models use 42mm cases, Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 movements and brushed steel mesh bracelets.
- The steel editions are non-limited and priced at EUR 8,500 including taxes, CHF 6,700 or USD 8,600 before taxes.
A Seamaster split between 007 and Spectre
The modern Bond-era Seamaster story began in 1995 with GoldenEye, when the Diver 300M became inseparable from Pierce Brosnan’s version of 007.
Since then, Omega has produced a long line of film-linked models and commemorative editions, almost always framed around Bond himself or his allies.
This release changes the dynamic by letting the opposing side enter the watch box.

Both the James Bond and Spectre steel editions share the same core architecture, so the choice is less about mechanics and more about allegiance, mood and dial language.
Underneath, each watch is the no-date Seamaster Diver 300M introduced in 2024, with the collection’s familiar 42mm stainless-steel case, lyre-shaped lugs, helium escape valve at 10 o’clock and 300-metre water resistance.
The case measures 14.23mm thick and 50mm lug to lug, proportions that keep it firmly in contemporary professional-diver territory.

The Bond model keeps the blue Seamaster signature
The James Bond edition, reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, leans into the Seamaster’s most recognisable visual code with a blue aluminium dial and laser-engraved wave pattern.
It’s the more nostalgic of the two steel pieces, recalling the early Seamaster Professional 300M watches of the 1990s without simply replaying them.
A coat of arms appears as the 12 o’clock marker, giving the dial its most direct Bond-specific detail.

The hour markers and openworked hands are rhodium-plated, diamond-polished and filled with white Super-LumiNova.
Most luminous elements glow blue, while the minute hand emits green light for easier dive-time reading.
The bezel uses a grade 5 titanium insert with a laser-ablated diving scale in positive relief over a matte background, matching the treatment seen on the 2024 no-date Seamaster Diver 300M.

Turn the watch over and the Bond identity becomes more theatrical, with a rhodium-plated rotor shaped around the franchise’s gun-barrel motif.
Spectre gets the darker brief
The Spectre edition, reference 210.30.42.20.01.023, takes the same case and movement and moves the mood into black.
Its bezel insert is black ceramic, with a 60-minute scale in positive relief over a matte, grained surface.

The dial follows with a black grained aluminium finish, giving the watch a flatter and more covert character than the blue Bond model.
Unlike the Bond edition, the Spectre watch keeps the hands and markers closer to the regular Seamaster Diver 300M vocabulary, using the established shapes and white Super-LumiNova treatment.
The main signature sits on the movement side, where the automatic rotor is shaped like Spectre’s octopus emblem and finished in black.

It’s a clever use of the display back, because the watch remains discreet on the wrist while revealing its allegiance when turned over.
Limited two-watch sets raise the material stakes
Alongside the two individually available steel watches, Omega is producing two limited two-watch sets, one for James Bond and one for Spectre.
Each set is limited to 77 examples.

Every set includes a stainless-steel Seamaster Diver 300M on the brushed mesh bracelet, visually aligned with the non-limited editions but fitted with an applied plate on the 9 o’clock case flank showing the set number.
The second watch in each set is a higher-end Seamaster Diver 300M in Omega’s platinum-gold alloy, a material made of roughly 95 percent platinum and 5 percent gold.
Those platinum-gold versions are distinguished by solid gold guilloche dials, moving the collection away from tool-watch minimalism and into a more precious interpretation of the same Bond-versus-Spectre idea.

For collectors, the sets are likely to be the more specialised proposition, while the steel watches are the more wearable route into the concept.

This is a smart expansion of Omega’s long-running Bond partnership because it doesn’t rely on a single commemorative cue.
By giving the Seamaster Diver 300M two sharply defined personalities, Omega has made the choice feel personal rather than merely thematic.
