Breitling’s latest Aston Martin collaboration is aimed at a very specific garage.
The new Valhalla Super Chronomat duo is reserved for owners of Aston Martin’s mid-engine plug-in hybrid hypercar, with each watch commissioned through a dedicated configurator that lets buyers echo the specification of their own car.
It’s a more intimate kind of automotive watch partnership, less about a logo on the dial and more about turning the car’s colours, materials and attitude into something wearable.

A watch programme built around the Valhalla
The Aston Martin Valhalla is not a subtle point of departure.
It’s Aston Martin’s first series-production mid-engine plug-in hybrid hypercar, combining a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors for a total output of 1,079 PS.
The numbers are suitably extreme, with 62 mph arriving in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.

Breitling’s response is not one watch but two, both sitting within the Super Chronomat family and both shaped around the idea of owner configuration.
The connection between the brands has been building through Aston Martin DB5-themed pieces and a Navitimer for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team, but the Valhalla models feel more directly tied to individual ownership.
The B19 44 Perpetual Calendar goes all in
The more technically ambitious of the pair is the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph.

It uses a 44mm titanium case with a black ceramic bezel insert and a carbon-fibre dial, a material choice that neatly mirrors the Valhalla’s own performance-led construction language.
The complication is the statement here.
Breitling’s manufacture Caliber 19 combines automatic winding, a chronograph, moonphase display and perpetual calendar functionality, tracking the irregularities of the calendar without manual correction until the year 2100 if kept running.

The movement is COSC-certified and carries a 96-hour power reserve, giving the watch a practical margin that suits something this complex.
Water resistance is rated to 200 metres, helped by a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, which is more capability than most owners will ever ask of a hypercar-linked perpetual calendar.
A display caseback reveals a black rotor, which can be personally engraved.

Owners can choose from four colour options for the flange and hands, including Aston Martin Racing Green, Trophy Silver, Vivid Gold and Lime Green.
The counter hands offer six choices, with Valkyrie Gold, Vivid Orange and Rosso Corsa red expanding the palette.
That’s where the concept becomes most interesting, since the watch can pick up details from a Valhalla’s paint, interior stitching or brake calipers rather than simply sharing the badge on the bonnet.

The Automatic 38 offers the dressed-up option
The Super Chronomat Automatic 38 takes a smaller and more pared-back route.
Its 38mm stainless steel case swaps the B19’s perpetual calendar architecture for a three-hand display with a date at 6 o’clock.
The carbon-fibre dial remains, keeping the connection to the Valhalla’s performance character, but the bezel is set with lab-grown diamonds produced to the SCS-007 sustainability standard.

That mix gives the Automatic 38 a different mood from the 44mm perpetual calendar chronograph.
It’s still tied to the hypercar, but it leans more towards evening wear than pit-lane theatre.
Personalisation is simpler on this model, with the same four colour choices for the flange and hands but no chronograph counter hands to configure.

The caseback is closed and engraved with the Aston Martin logo as standard, with personal engraving also available.
Inside is the self-winding Breitling Caliber 17, another COSC-certified movement, with a 38-hour power reserve.
Water resistance is 100 metres, which is comfortably suitable for daily wear.
