Jaeger-LeCoultre has given the Master Control Perpetual Calendar a new context with the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar, a 39mm watch that places the complication inside a redesigned integrated-bracelet case.
Introduced at Watches and Wonders 2026, it sits at the top of the new Master Control Chronometre family, above the three-hand model and the Date Power Reserve.
A more assertive Master Control case
The Master Control line has traditionally been one of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most restrained families, usually seen with clean dials, slim cases and leather straps.

This new Chronometre generation changes that balance without abandoning the collection’s polished character.
The round bezel remains, but the lugs are now reshaped into an integrated structure that lets the bracelet flow directly into the case.
The bracelet is the more distinctive part of the redesign, using a three-link architecture with alternating centre links, including a slim V-shaped element with polished facets.

A familiar perpetual calendar with a sports-watch setting
The dial keeps the balanced four-counter layout associated with the Master Control Perpetual Calendar, with indications for the day, date, month, moon phase and year.
Its typography feels more contemporary than earlier Master Control perpetual calendars, which suits the sharper bracelet format and the more versatile intent of the watch.
The steel version uses a platinum moon on its moon-phase display, while the pink gold model pairs its warmer case with a brown dial and a gold moon.

Calendar adjustment is handled through a single recessed corrector at 8 o’clock, a practical arrangement, though the display advances only forward.
The calibre 868 and the new High Precision Guarantee
Inside is the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 868, an automatic movement running at 4 Hz with a 70-hour power reserve.
The movement helps keep the case notably slim for a perpetual calendar, with the watch measuring just 9.2mm thick.

Finishing is in line with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s modern production standards, including Côtes de Genève, polished countersinks, bevelled bridge edges and a free-sprung balance with variable inertia weights.
The larger technical story is the new High Precision Guarantee, which succeeds the brand’s long-running 1,000 Hours Control and tests the completed watch under conditions meant to better resemble real wearing.
After COSC chronometer certification for the movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre evaluates performance across altitude, shock, position and temperature, with weekday and weekend wearing patterns also simulated during a three-day process.
Where this watch fits
Integrated-bracelet luxury watches are often dominated by time-only and travel-time formats, so a perpetual calendar gives this Master Control Chronometre a different kind of appeal.
It is not the loudest watch in the category, and that is part of the point.
For collectors who want a complicated Jaeger-LeCoultre with everyday wearability, modern precision testing and a less traditional silhouette, the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar is one of the more interesting moves from the manufacture in recent years.
