Atelier Wen has introduced the Perception V3, the latest evolution of its integrated bracelet watch built around hand-turned Chinese guilloché dials and a more refined 904L stainless steel case.
The new series arrives in three colors, with the returning ice-blue Piāo and salmon Xiá joined by Yún, a bamboo green dial that adds a calmer, earthier tone to the collection.
Three guilloché dials with a Chinese craft signature
The Perception has always been most compelling at the dial, and the V3 keeps that focus firmly in place.

Each dial is made by the workshop of Cheng Yucai in Henan province, using a hand-operated rose engine and a diamond-tipped chisel to create the outward-radiating pattern.
The motif takes inspiration from sǔn mǎo, the traditional Chinese joinery principle of friction-based assembly, giving the dial a visual rhythm that shifts as the watch catches light.
Atelier Wen frames the colors with specific cultural and atmospheric references, from Piāo’s pale mountain-at-dawn blue to Xiá’s dusk-like salmon and Yún’s bamboo-skin green, a nod to resilience in Chinese culture.

A slimmer 904L steel case with sharper finishing
The Perception V3 keeps the 40mm diameter and 47mm lug-to-lug length of the previous generation, but reduces thickness to 10.4mm.
That slimmer profile should make the watch wear closer to the wrist, especially with the integrated bracelet and box sapphire crystal.
The case uses 904L stainless steel and combines more directional brushing with mirror polishing than earlier versions, while the Yún variant goes further with micro-frosted surfaces instead of conventional brushing.

A knurled crown carries the same huí wén pattern used on the dial’s chapter ring, and the watch maintains 100 meters of water resistance despite the exhibition caseback.
A French automatic movement inside
Power comes from the Pequignet calibre EPM03, an automatic movement with hacking seconds and a 65-hour power reserve.
The choice gives the Perception V3 a distinct French connection, fitting for a French-Chinese brand that has made cross-cultural watchmaking central to its identity.

On the dial side, rhodium-plated feuille hands sit above applied indices locked into cutouts by an elevated chapter ring.
The minute track is formed by a printed huí wén pattern in Super-LumiNova, adding a practical luminous element without disrupting the decorative language of the watch.
Bracelet, pricing and delivery timing
The Perception V3 is delivered on a tapered steel bracelet measuring 22mm at the lugs and narrowing to 18mm at the clasp.
The clasp includes micro-adjustment, a detail that matters on an integrated bracelet watch where fit can make or break the experience.
Atelier Wen has priced the Perception V3 at $4,850, positioning it well above the brand’s early releases but in line with the increased emphasis on artisanal dial work and case finishing.
Orders are open now, with deliveries for the first 300 pieces scheduled to begin in September 2026.
For collectors drawn to independent watchmaking outside the usual Swiss and Japanese lanes, the Perception V3 offers a clear point of view rather than a familiar formula dressed in new colors.
