Cadillac is moving its most ambitious personalisation program onto its most important electric SUV.
The Escalade IQ can now be ordered through Curated by Cadillac, a bespoke service that turns the brand’s electric flagship into something closer to a coachbuilt commission than a conventional option-sheet exercise.
It’s a notable step for Cadillac, not just because the Escalade name carries so much weight, but because this brings Celestiq-level customisation into a larger, more recognisable luxury SUV format.

At a glance
- Cadillac has extended its Curated by Cadillac personalisation program to the Escalade IQ electric SUV.
- Buyers can choose from more than 160 exterior paint colours and 44 interior design configurations.
- The Curated package adds $54,995 to the Escalade IQ’s $150,600 base price.
A broader canvas for the electric Escalade
Curated by Cadillac first appeared on the Celestiq and has also been applied to the CT5-V Blackwing.
For the Escalade IQ, the program brings more than 160 exterior paint colours, including metallics, tri-coats, mattes and frost finishes.
That’s paired with 44 interior design configurations, a substantial expansion over the standard Escalade IQ’s three interior choices.

The appeal is straightforward.
Escalade buyers have long treated the model as a statement vehicle, and the electric IQ now gives Cadillac a platform where personalisation can be presented with more ceremony and permanence.
How a Curated Escalade IQ is built
The process is designed to be guided rather than left to an online configurator alone.

Clients work with a dedicated design concierge through configuration sessions, helping navigate the colour, material and cabin combinations without turning the experience into guesswork.
Once a specification is locked in, the vehicle is diverted away from standard mass production.
Each Curated Escalade IQ is hand-built, hand-painted and assembled at GM’s Artisan Centre in Warren, Michigan.

Cadillac also gives every custom model a unique VIN and a serialised builder’s badge, underscoring that these aren’t simply regular vehicles with a longer options list.
Price and positioning
The Curated package costs $54,995 on top of the Escalade IQ’s $150,600 base price.
That moves the starting point for a Curated build beyond $185,000 before additional options are considered.

Fully optioned examples can climb past $215,000, placing the Escalade IQ firmly in the territory where scarcity, craftsmanship and client involvement matter as much as output or range.
Cadillac isn’t changing the performance hardware for Curated models, which is sensible.
The point here is not to make the Escalade IQ quicker, but to make it more personal.
Electric performance remains unchanged
The Escalade IQ keeps its 205 kWh battery pack and dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.
Output remains 750 hp, with Cadillac quoting a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.7 seconds and a maximum driving range of up to 465 miles.
Those numbers keep the Curated model aligned with the broader Escalade IQ range, while the bespoke work happens in the finish, cabin treatment and production process.

For Cadillac, bringing Curated to the Escalade IQ is a smart use of the brand’s most visible nameplate.
It gives electric Escalade buyers a deeper sense of authorship, while letting Cadillac push its flagship SUV into a more rarefied corner of the luxury market without altering the vehicle’s core engineering.
