Bentley’s Mulliner division is giving the Continental GT S a more collectable rhythm with The Bespoke Series, a new annual programme of tightly curated, limited-edition cars.
The idea is closer to a seasonal luxury release than a conventional options package, with colour, trim and detailing treated as the central story.
For its debut, the programme focuses on six specially developed finishes, each paired with a coordinated cabin treatment and a suite of Mulliner-specific touches.

At a glance
- Bentley Mulliner has launched The Bespoke Series as an annual limited-edition programme, beginning with 100 Continental GT S models.
- The debut collection offers six exclusive exterior colourways with matching interior accents, pearl-effect detailing and individually numbered cabins.
- Buyers can choose the Continental GT S Coupé or GT S Convertible, with every car built at Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe.
A fashion-style cadence for Crewe’s bespoke division
The Bespoke Series reframes Mulliner’s work around anticipation, scarcity and seasonal design direction.
Rather than presenting a single one-off commission, Bentley is packaging its bespoke thinking into a defined portfolio, shaped in the Design Studio and then realised by the company’s technical and craft teams in Crewe.
That approach suits Mulliner’s position inside Bentley.

It remains the brand’s home for coachbuilding and deeply personalised commissions, but this programme gives collectors a more structured way into that world.
The timing also lets Bentley show off two important parts of its current creative infrastructure, its new Design Studio and its recently operational Paint Shop.
For the first Bespoke Series, the emphasis is firmly on paint, light and contrast.

Six colourways with a darker edge
All six finishes have been created in house by Bentley’s Design Studio, with deep pearlescent and subtle Chromaflair-style effects used to give the cars a changing character in different light.
Each exterior shade is echoed inside through accent hide, embroidery, veneer treatment and smaller details such as the steering wheel six o’clock marker and gearlever.
Bentley has deliberately paired the colours with darker elements, making the chosen shade stand out against black wheels, gloss black mirror caps and the GT S model’s Blackline specification grille and air intakes.

A central painted stripe in Beluga and pearl effect runs the length of every car, giving the series a visual signature without making the design feel overworked.
The six choices are Salerno Blue, Snow Quartz with Arctic White cabin accents, Midnight Prism Pearlescent, Spectral Verdant, Manuka Orange and Bright Ruby Red.
Spectral Verdant has the clearest link to Bentley’s motorsport colour heritage, while Manuka Orange is the most extroverted expression of the set.

Midnight Prism Pearlescent takes a quieter route with a deep blue-black tone, complemented inside by Peacock blue accents.
Cabin details designed to mark the series
Inside, every Bespoke Series by Mulliner car uses the Mulliner upholstery triple colour split S, combining Jet Black main hide, Beluga secondary hide and the selected accent colour.
The fascia and waistrails receive dual-finish veneer treatments tied to the exterior colour, often divided by a dark chrome pinstripe.

Beyond colour, the specification includes dark tinted chrome details, comfort seats, mood lighting and the Bentley Rotating Display.
The seats, doors and rear quarters also feature a bespoke perforation pattern, while ‘By Mulliner’ tags and individual series numbering on the fascia and treadplates reinforce the limited nature of the programme.
A small colour swatch feature on the centre console shows all six bespoke colours, a neat reminder that this is a collection rather than a single special edition.

An animated welcome lamp projection appears when the doors are opened, and each car is supplied with a bespoke fitted cover tailored to the car beneath it.

The appeal here isn’t only the low production number, though 100 cars will keep the series firmly in collector territory.
It’s the way Mulliner has turned paint, leather and trim into a coherent seasonal statement, giving the Continental GT S a sharper editorial identity without losing the grand touring composure that defines the car.
