Audi has timed the Singapore arrival of its latest RS 5 neatly with one of the city’s biggest motoring weeks.
The new performance model comes in two distinct forms, with a sharp Sedan for the traditional fast-four-door buyer and an RS 5 Avant for drivers who want the same punch with more day-to-day usefulness.
Both versions bring serious numbers, a standard Audi Sport package and a visible public rollout in the city.

At a glance
- Audi has launched the latest RS 5 in Singapore in Sedan and Avant body styles.
- The twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 works with an electric motor for a combined 639 hp and 825 Nm.
- Singapore pricing starts at S$713,999 for the Sedan and S$723,999 for the Avant, both including COE.
A Grand Prix week arrival with extra theatre
The RS 5’s Singapore debut lands as attention turns toward the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, giving Audi’s performance newcomer a fittingly high-energy backdrop.
The Sedan will be shown at the House of Progress from October 1.
The RS 5 Avant will then take its turn at Funan Mall from October 1 to 11, putting the estate-bodied variant in front of visitors who may not usually seek out a showroom launch.

Hybrid-assisted V6 performance
At the heart of the new RS 5 is a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 paired with an electric motor.
Together, the system produces 639 hp and 825 Nm of torque, or 608 lb ft, which places the car firmly in modern high-performance territory.
That pairing also signals where Audi’s RS cars are heading, with electrification used to add force rather than dilute the character expected from the badge.

Sedan restraint or Avant usability
The choice between Sedan and Avant is likely to be the most interesting part of the RS 5’s local appeal.
The Sedan gives buyers the cleaner executive performance silhouette, while the Avant adds the practical estate format that has long been central to Audi’s fast-car identity.
Both body styles come standard with the Audi Sport package in Singapore.

That brings 21-inch two-tone Phantom Black wheels and an RS sport exhaust system, two details that help separate the RS 5 visually and aurally from Audi’s regular performance line-up.

For Singapore buyers, the new RS 5 reads as a car with two personalities rather than two trim lines.
