Audi has already begun teasing the next Q7, but the most revealing look yet may have arrived through a set of unofficial images now circulating online.
If accurate, the 2027 Q7 is set for a more assertive design direction, with sharper lighting, a bolder grille and an interior that moves closer to Audi’s newest digital cabin language.
For a model that sits in one of the most competitive premium SUV segments, the redesign matters.

Rear styling and road presence
From the rear, the design appears to continue Audi’s move toward wider, cleaner light signatures.
The SUV is shown with large LED taillights and what seems likely to be a full-width light bar stretching across the tailgate.
A sportier rear bumper with grey detailing and dual exhaust tips adds some visual weight, while large alloy wheels help fill out the body sides.
It’s still recognisably a Q7, but the surfacing and lighting appear designed to make the SUV feel less conservative.
A cabin inspired by Audi’s newest digital direction
The cabin glimpse is just as important as the exterior.
The images show a three-screen layout similar in spirit to the upcoming Audi Q9, suggesting the Q7 will adopt the brand’s latest cockpit strategy.
Wood trim is visible inside, giving the cabin a warmer counterpoint to the screen-heavy dashboard.
A chunky steering wheel also appears in the images, reinforcing the more substantial, SUV-focused character Audi seems to be chasing.
Positioned against the GLE and X5
The Q7 has long had to balance family practicality with executive polish, and that task is only getting harder.
Mercedes-Benz has refreshed the GLE, while BMW’s next X5 is expected to take cues from the Neue Klasse design language.
That puts pressure on Audi to make the new Q7 feel fresh not just in design, but also in technology and cabin presentation.
