Created for the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this limited Monaco Chronograph trades the brand’s recent high-tech racing vocabulary for something more period-correct, with a British Racing Green dial, beige accents and a few precise Goodwood references tucked into the details.
It’s a watch aimed less at spectacle and more at atmosphere, which feels right for a weekend where historic machinery and modern performance share the same hill.

TAG Heuer returns as Official Timing Partner of the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the 2026 edition, which runs from 9 July to 12 July.
The brand’s presence will include a pop-up dedicated to its motorsport history, with the Porsche 917 associated with Steve McQueen’s 1971 film Le Mans among the headline attractions.
That context matters because this Monaco doesn’t chase the more futuristic tone of TAG Heuer’s recent performance-led releases.
Instead, it uses the familiar square automatic chronograph format as a canvas for classic racing colour and Goodwood-specific details.
The case is stainless steel and keeps the contemporary Monaco proportions, measuring 39mm across, 15mm thick and 47mm lug-to-lug.
A bevelled sapphire crystal sits over the dial, while a sapphire caseback shows the movement and carries the Goodwood Festival of Speed logo.
British Racing Green with precise Goodwood cues
The defining element is the dial, finished in British Racing Green lacquer with a sunray-brushed effect.
It’s a smart choice for Goodwood, where the setting is as much country-estate elegance as flat-out motorsport theatre.
Beige sub-dials and a matching circular minute track soften the look and give the watch a more vintage personality.
The central chronograph seconds hand is black lacquered and finished with a chequered flag motif at the tip.
Red sub-dial hands add a sharper racing note, while a red marker at 39 seconds nods to the current Festival Hillclimb record set by the McMurtry Spéirling driven by Max Chilton in 2022.
