Porsche’s latest special 911 is built around a very specific British memory.
The 911 GT3 Touring Earls Court 51 Edition celebrates 75 years since Porsche first appeared at London’s Earls Court Motor Show, where a 356 coupe and convertible were shown in October 1951.
Limited to 51 cars for British buyers, it turns a piece of early brand history into one of the more understated GT3-based commissions of recent years.

A London anniversary with real Porsche roots
The reference point is October 1951, when Porsche displayed a 356 coupe and convertible at Earls Court.
That appearance marked the brand’s first showing at the London motor show, and the number of cars in this edition directly nods to that year.
The UK has since become Porsche’s fourth-largest market worldwide, which gives this project more weight than a simple paint-and-trim exercise.

It’s a market-specific anniversary model, but also a reminder of how early Porsche’s British relationship began.
Earls Court Green and a quieter GT3 silhouette
The car has been developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the division responsible for the brand’s more personal and limited commissions.
Its defining visual detail is Earls Court Green metallic, a bespoke finish inspired by the original 356 shown in London.
Using the GT3 Touring as the base also matters.
Where the standard GT3 is defined by its fixed rear wing, the Touring removes that element for a cleaner, more discreet profile.
The result is still a GT3, but one with a more reserved attitude that suits the historic brief.
Inside the Earls Court 51 Edition
The cabin pairs Night Green and Chalk Beige leather with corduroy upholstery, adding a period-minded texture without turning the car into a retro pastiche.
Porsche has also added an embossed 356 silhouette and the phrase “driving in its purest form” as explicit links to the car’s inspiration.
Power is unchanged at 502 hp, so the commemorative treatment doesn’t alter the core GT3 formula.
Each example is also accompanied by a matching Porsche Design chronograph, a leather weekender bag and a scale model.

For collectors, the appeal is unusually clear.
This isn’t just a limited-colour GT3 Touring, but a UK-focused anniversary car tied to Porsche’s first London motor show appearance and capped at a number with historical meaning.
For buyers who prefer the GT3’s engineering in its least extroverted form, the Earls Court 51 Edition looks like a carefully judged tribute rather than a loud commemorative statement.
