Omega’s long-running relationship with James Bond has usually put the hero front and centre, but its newest Seamaster Diver 300M releases give the franchise’s villains a proper turn on the wrist.
The new James Bond Spectre collection splits neatly between 007 and his shadowy adversaries, pairing accessible steel models with far rarer platinum-gold editions sold in limited box sets.
It’s a clever shift for a partnership that has already explored plenty of Bond mythology, and it gives the Diver 300M a darker, more covert personality without losing the model’s everyday dive-watch appeal.

At a glance
- Omega has introduced new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre watches, including steel editions and limited box sets.
- The Spectre models use octopus-inspired details, while the Bond editions lean into wave, gun-barrel and 007 rotor motifs.
- The steel models are priced at £7,200, while each limited box set is priced at £75,300 and restricted to 77 sets.
Spectre steps out of the shadows
The Spectre half of the collection is led by the Seamaster Diver 300M ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023, a 42mm stainless steel watch with a black grained dial and a black ceramic bezel.
At first glance, it’s one of the more discreet Bond-adjacent Seamasters Omega has made, with skeletonised hands, strong lume and enlarged hour markers doing the practical work.
The restraint suits the theme.

Spectre’s presence isn’t shouted across the dial, but hidden on the reverse through a custom rotor carrying the organisation’s octopus logo.
That rotor sits on Omega’s automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806 Spectre, which offers a 55-hour power reserve.
The steel Spectre model is available individually at £7,200, and it also appears within a limited box set under ref. 210.30.42.20.01.029, distinguished by a “Limited Edition” inscription on the caseback.

Platinum-gold adds the villain’s flourish
The box set pairs the steel Spectre watch with ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001, a 42mm precious-metal version with a platinum-gold case and an 18k white gold dial.
Here the theme becomes more explicit, with an engraved black dial pattern inspired by the curling tentacles of the Spectre octopus.
The bezel also becomes more ornate, combining a polished ceramic bezel ring with a platinum diving scale and octopus motif.

Even the movement detail changes, with the octopus rotor rendered in gold and the calibre identified as the 8806 Spectre gold.
The Spectre set is limited to 77 pieces and priced at £75,300, with the platinum-gold model not offered separately.
Bond gets a brighter blue counterpart
Omega hasn’t left 007 out of the story.

The Bond-side steel model, ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004, keeps the same 42mm Diver 300M format but moves into a brighter visual language with a blue aluminium dial and laser-engraved wave pattern.
A grade 5 titanium bezel ring gives the steel edition a technical edge, while a custom arrow-shaped marker at 12 o’clock adds a subtle military-style signature.
The caseback reveals calibre 8806 James Bond, again an automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement with a 55-hour power reserve.

Its rotor carries the familiar Bond treatment, combining the rifled gun-barrel motif with the 007 emblem.
Like the steel Spectre watch, the steel Bond model is priced at £7,200 in its regular non-limited form.
The limited version, ref. 210.30.42.20.03.005, forms part of a 77-piece box set with the platinum-gold ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001.

Gun-barrel engraving for the precious-metal 007 model
The platinum-gold Bond edition mirrors the Spectre precious-metal watch in concept, but swaps the villainous octopus for an engraved gun-barrel pattern.
Its 18k white gold dial carries a blue PVD gradient, while the polished ceramic bezel ring features a platinum diving scale with the gun-barrel motif.
It’s the more cinematic of the Bond pair, and arguably the cleaner visual counterpoint to the darker Spectre box set.

The Bond limited set is also priced at £75,300 and restricted to 77 sets, with the platinum-gold watch unavailable as a standalone purchase.

The strongest idea here is the balance between restraint and theatre.
The steel watches are recognisably wearable Seamaster Diver 300M models with franchise details tucked into the right places, while the platinum-gold editions give collectors the full narrative treatment.

For anyone who has followed Omega’s Bond era closely, this collection broadens the story in a satisfying way by letting the villain finally share the stage.
