NORQAIN has taken its Wild ONE platform in a more extreme direction with the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite, a 200-piece limited edition built around one very clear brief, reducing weight without abandoning the collection’s rugged character.
Introduced at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, the reference N3003.26X01.B01 lands in a black-and-yellow execution that feels closely aligned with the Wild ONE’s high-impact personality.
A 45 gram Wild ONE with a sharper suit
The headline figure is 45 grams, a notably low number for a Swiss automatic sports watch with a 41mm case, 100 meters of water resistance and sapphire crystals front and back.
That weight puts the watch well below many already-light resin sports watches, which helps explain the appeal once it is actually on the wrist.
The case measures about 12mm thick with a 48.7mm lug-to-lug span, giving it a modern athletic footprint without the mass that often comes with shock-resistant construction.
NORTEQ, X-Lite and the shock resistant case
The Wild ONE has always been NORQAIN’s answer to the problem of making a serious Swiss sports watch feel genuinely tough rather than merely styled for activity.
Here, the familiar architecture uses rubber, NORQAIN’s carbon-blend NORTEQ material and a DLC-coated titanium inner container that protects the movement.
The X-Lite edition adds a proprietary carbon fiber composite for the casing ring, helping trim mass while preserving the practical resilience expected from the collection.
NORQAIN has also reworked the bezel, case details and strap construction, with a two-piece strap that wraps closely and keeps the watch planted rather than top-heavy.
A skeleton calibre built for less mass
The openworked dial is not just a styling exercise here, because the skeletonization supports the wider weight-saving mission of the watch.
Inside is the NBK26/1, which NORQAIN calls the 4K Manufacture Calibre, an exclusive Swiss Made automatic movement developed with Sellita’s AMT division rather than produced in-house by NORQAIN.
The movement runs at 4Hz, offers 65 hours of power reserve and is COSC-certified, with hours, minutes and seconds displayed through a heavily skeletonized layout.
The bridges use a mountain-peak motif that connects visually with NORQAIN’s recent high-performance movement language, while the open construction gives the watch a technical look that suits the X-Lite concept.
Limited production and the price of lightness
The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite is priced at $13,900, which makes it significantly more expensive than the standard Wild ONE Skeleton models currently listed at $6,790.
That premium reflects the specialized materials, revised construction and exclusive movement treatment rather than a simple color update.
For collectors, the strongest case for the X-Lite is not spec-sheet theater but the combination of comfort, shock resistance and mechanical legitimacy in a watch that nearly disappears on the wrist.
It will make the most sense for buyers who already like the Wild ONE’s unconventional Swiss sports-watch identity and want the lightest, most focused version of the idea to date.
