This new version keeps the broad-shouldered period attitude but sharpens the personality with a matte black dial, an orange minute track and matching orange central chronograph seconds hand.
The dial texture is grained, giving it a slightly asphalt-like surface that suits the automotive mood without becoming too literal.
Two recessed beige subdials add contrast and bring a warmer vintage tone into the composition.
It’s an intentionally asymmetrical design, with a date at 3 o’clock and period-correct subdial markings that give the watch much of its charm.
