Mondaine has added the Doppio Bauhaus Inspired to its Doppio collection, giving the Swiss brand’s clean minimalist language a more graphic and colour-led expression.
The new release arrives in 33mm and 41mm case sizes, both using slim polished 316L stainless steel cases and double-domed sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating.

A Concave Dial Built Around Bauhaus Colour Theory
The dial is the point of the watch, using a concave profile and geometric colour elements that lean into Bauhaus ideas of shape, contrast and clarity.

Mondaine keeps the display legible with its double-line hands and indexes, while the red seconds hand connects the watch back to the brand’s familiar visual code.
The 41mm model adds a date window at 3 o’clock, while the 33mm version keeps the layout cleaner with time-only functionality.
Two Slim Steel Cases, Two Distinct Personalities
The 33mm model measures 7mm thick and weighs 56g, making it the more compact and jewellery-like option in the pair.

The 41mm version is still notably thin at 7.5mm and weighs 85g, giving it a broader wrist presence without moving away from the Doppio’s restrained proportions.
Both watches are rated to 50 metres of water resistance and include polished steel casebacks with geometric detailing, along with security gaskets for the crown.
Ronda Quartz Keeps the Package Practical
Inside the 33mm reference MLE.33112.SM is the Ronda 763E quartz calibre, a time-only movement with a quoted 40-month battery life.

The 41mm reference MLE.41221.SM uses the Ronda 515, adding date functionality and extending the battery life to approximately 45 months.
- 33mm case: £269, Ronda 763E, hours, minutes and seconds
- 41mm case: £299, Ronda 515, hours, minutes, seconds and date
- Both models: stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, 50m water resistance
Milanese Bracelets and May Availability
Both sizes are fitted to stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelets with micro-adjustment, a sensible match for the thin cases and everyday-wear positioning.
The 33mm watch uses a 16mm silver bracelet with a polished steel buckle, while the 41mm version comes on a 20mm gunmetal IP bracelet with an IP polished buckle.

The Mondaine Doppio Bauhaus Inspired launches globally on May 15 through authorised retailers, with standard presentation box, manual, certificate and warranty documents included.
For buyers who want Mondaine’s minimalist discipline with a more expressive dial, this is a sharp, accessible way into modernist design without losing the practicality of a slim quartz daily watch.
