Mercedes-AMG has added a harder-edged GT to its Malaysian line-up with the arrival of the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ Coupe.
It’s still built around the familiar hand-built V8 formula, but the Pro brings more output, added cooling and more focused aerodynamic work for drivers who want the AMG GT with a sharper track-day brief.
Pricing starts at RM 2,088,888, or about $511,640.

A stronger V8 for the Malaysian AMG GT line-up
The GT 63 Pro uses AMG’s hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, tuned to produce 603 hp and 850 Nm of torque.
That gives it an increase of 26 hp and 50 Nm over the regular GT 63, with the added performance achieved through engine-control software.
Power is sent through a nine-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission and AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive.
The numbers are suitably serious, with 0 to 100 km/h completed in 3.2 seconds and a claimed top speed of 317 km/h.
Pro hardware beyond the badge
The visual changes are direct rather than decorative.
A revised front bumper, larger air intakes and visible carbon-fibre air deflectors give the GT 63 Pro a more purposeful face, while checkered-flag badging marks it out from the standard car.
The aerodynamic revisions are functional, reducing front-axle lift by 30 kg.
Mercedes-AMG has also upgraded the braking and cooling systems to suit the extra performance, which is the kind of detail that matters more than the badgework on a car wearing the Pro name.
