Mauron Musy has entered a more ambitious phase with the MU09 NODE, a 41mm Grade 5 titanium watch that turns the brand’s gasket-free case architecture into a sharper, more compact integrated-bracelet proposition.
For CEO Christophe Musy, independence is not a marketing position so much as the operating principle behind the entire company.
The gasket-free case remains the brand signature
Founded in 2013 by Christophe Musy and machining specialist Eric Mauron, the Broye valley watchmaker built its identity around a highly technical multi-part case that achieves water resistance without conventional gaskets.

That nO-Ring construction has become the clearest expression of the brand’s engineering-first personality, especially in watches such as the MU05 Architect and the smaller MU06 Unix.
The MU09 NODE brings the idea into a tighter format
The MU09 NODE feels significant because it translates Mauron Musy’s industrial language into a more wearable 41mm titanium case with a tapering integrated bracelet.
Its Grade 5 titanium construction keeps the watch light, while the bracelet gives the case architecture a natural continuation rather than simply following the wider trend for sports watches on integrated bracelets.

The MM03 calibre changes the stakes
Inside the NODE is the in-house MM03 calibre, an automatic movement with a tungsten micro-rotor that signals a deeper level of control over the product.
For a small independent, developing its own movement is not only a prestige exercise, since it also helps with quality control, private commissions and future complications that would be harder to manage through a network of external partners.
A collector watch for the post-grail stage
Mauron Musy sits in the part of the market where collectors often arrive after the obvious milestone watches from larger maisons, looking for something more personal and less familiar.

The brand’s use of local production, its Swiss Crafted positioning and its willingness to make distinctive commissions give it a clear appeal for buyers who want modern independent watchmaking without nostalgic design cues.
The MU09 NODE matters because it is not just another titanium integrated-bracelet watch, but a platform for what Mauron Musy wants to become next.
