Matching Tricolore Ferraris Bring 458 Speciale, Aperta and F12tdf to Auction

A tightly curated trio of modern Ferrari collectibles is heading to auction with a rare sense of visual unity.

Known as the Tricolore Scuderia Collection, the group brings together a 458 Speciale, a 458 Speciale Aperta and an F12tdf, each ordered in a white exterior with Italian-flag detailing.

For collectors who prize mileage, specification and end-of-an-era Ferrari engineering, this is the kind of grouping that doesn’t need much theatre.

The appeal here starts with the specification.

All three cars lean into Ferrari’s national identity, pairing pale exterior finishes with tricolore striping and assertive brake caliper colours.

That sounds simple, but matched presentation matters in the upper end of modern Ferrari collecting, especially when the cars involved are already limited, desirable or mechanically significant.

The collection is led by two versions of the 458 Speciale, a model widely valued for being the last mid-engined Ferrari powered by a naturally aspirated V8.

The third car, the F12tdf, brings the drama of a front-mounted naturally aspirated V12 and a much smaller mileage figure.

The 458 Speciale and Aperta carry the V8 torch

The 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale coupe is finished in Bianco Avus with a factory-painted Tri-Colore Racing stripe.

It sits on Nero wheels with Giallo Modena brake calipers, while the cabin uses Nero Alcantara with Giallo inserts and carbon fibre accents.

The Speciale’s bodywork is more purposeful than a standard 458 Italia, with a sharper nose, fender louvres, a sculpted hood and a distinctive rear fascia with dual exhaust outlets.

Active aerodynamic flaps at the front and rear add another layer to its track-focused character.

Its open-top counterpart is a 458 Speciale Aperta, one of 499 examples produced.

This car is finished in Bianco Italia with Italian tricolore stripes and yellow brake calipers, maintaining the collection’s visual theme while adding the rarity of Ferrari’s limited-run spider.

Both 458s use a 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 597 hp, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The coupe has 914 miles on the odometer, while the Aperta has covered just 308 miles.

The F12tdf adds V12 force and near-delivery mileage

The 2017 Ferrari F12tdf is the most powerful car in the trio and the least driven.

Its odometer shows only 89 miles, a figure that will be hard for mileage-sensitive collectors to ignore.

Ferrari built 799 examples of the F12tdf as a special edition of the F12 Berlinetta, giving it a sharper dynamic brief and a more focused identity.

This example was ordered through Ferrari’s Extra Campionario program with an extensive options list.

The exterior is Bianco Italia with special Italia livery stripes, black wheels and Rosso Corsa brake calipers.

Inside, the car is trimmed in Bianco and Nero leather upholstery.

Under the hood is a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 769 hp, driving the rear wheels and giving the car a top speed in excess of 210 mph.
