March LA.B has taken its angular AM2 and done the least obvious thing with it.
The new AM2 XS keeps the shape loud, then makes the watch compact, thin and unexpectedly dressy.
Measuring 32mm across and just 6.7mm thick, the AM2 XS is a manual-winding take on the brand’s signature boxy case, offered in stainless steel or gold PVD with green, white or golden dials.

The AM2 case gets smaller without going soft
March LA.B has always had a thing for shaped cases, and the AM2 is one of its clearest expressions of that taste.
The XS version keeps the octagonal architecture, sloping case facets and off-center crown at 4 o’clock, but compresses the whole idea into a format that feels more like a dress watch than a casual sports piece.
The case mixes brushed and polished surfaces, with six polished facets adding enough shine to keep the compact proportions from feeling too restrained.

A screw-down engraved crown helps the watch retain 50 meters of water resistance, while the sharp V-shaped lugs give the case a bit of bite on either a bracelet or leather strap.
Houndstooth dials replace the sportier AM2 attitude
The AM2 XS comes in three dial colors named Grall, Shelter and Golden Hour, covering green, white and warm gold tones.
Each dial gets a stamped houndstooth texture, which is a clever move for a watch that wants to feel dressier without becoming plain.

March LA.B also drops the date window here, leaving the dial cleaner and more formal than other AM2 models.
The polished applied indices and faceted sword hands avoid lume entirely, while small appliqués carry the brand mark at 12 o’clock and Made in France at 6 o’clock.
A thin La Joux-Perret movement does the hard work
The slim case is made possible by the La Joux-Perret D101, a manually wound movement measuring only 2.5mm thick.

Visible through a green-tinted sapphire porthole on the back, the caliber runs at 3Hz and offers a solid 50-hour power reserve.
It’s a straightforward hours-and-minutes movement, which suits the watch well and keeps the emphasis on proportion, texture and case design.
Bracelet, lizard or alligator options
The AM2 XS is available on a seven-link stainless steel bracelet, a black lizard strap or a black alligator strap, all using quick-release spring bars.
Pricing starts at EUR 1,995 for the steel bracelet or lizard strap versions, while the black alligator strap option is listed at EUR 2,795.
For collectors who like the AM2’s angular personality but want something far slimmer and more formal, the XS might be the most wearable version of the design yet.
