Some motorsport watches borrow colours, logos or dashboard cues.
The Lorige BL-Evolution Competition goes further, building its case from reprocessed carbon/carbon brake material linked to Inter Europol Competition’s LMP2 cars that finished first and second in class at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It’s a compact piece of endurance-racing history turned into an independent sports watch, and it also marks Lorige’s role as official timekeeper for the team’s IMSA season.

At a glance
- Lorige has introduced the BL-Evolution Competition, a 50-piece limited edition tied to Inter Europol Competition.
- The carbon/carbon case is made from reprocessed LMP2 brake pads, with Grade 5 titanium used for the bezel and caseback.
- The watch uses the manually wound LOR-DB03 by Chronode, offering a seven-day power reserve, with price upon request.
A case carrying Le Mans brake material
The BL-Evolution Competition keeps Lorige’s tonneau-shaped architecture, measuring 50mm by 42mm and just 10.3mm thick.
The defining detail is the case itself, formed entirely from recycled carbon/carbon composite taken from brake pads used by Inter Europol Competition’s No. 43 and No. 343 LMP2 cars.
That material choice gives the watch a direct mechanical link to the demands of endurance racing, rather than simply dressing a conventional case in team colours.

Lorige frames the carbon/carbon body with a satin-finished and polished Grade 5 titanium bezel and caseback, while a sapphire crystal and sapphire display back open up the construction from both sides.
At 3 o’clock sits a Grade 5 titanium dynamometric crown with Cool Grey Néoralithe inserts, adding a technical contrast to the dark composite case.
Water resistance is rated at 50 metres, which feels appropriate for a mechanically focused sports watch rather than a dive-oriented instrument.

A transparent dial in Inter Europol colours
The Competition model separates itself from earlier BL-Evolution pieces with a new gradient sapphire dial.
Its transparency lets the sunray-finished mainplate show through, with the finishing visually radiating from the centre of the seconds display.
The rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and hands have been redesigned and filled with Cool Grey Super-LumiNova, while white luminous indices sharpen legibility across the dial.

The small seconds display is one of the clearest nods to the team, using a two-part, double-coloured disc in Inter Europol Competition’s yellow and green.
At 12 o’clock, the power-reserve display is built around a DLC and rhodium-plated titanium upper bridge, a satin-finished day counter and a micro-blasted DLC disc with Cool Grey engravings.
Chronode-built movement with a seven-day reserve
Inside is the manually wound LOR-DB03, produced with Chronode and built around twin barrels.

The movement delivers a 168-hour power reserve, giving the watch a full seven days of running time between winds.
It beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, uses 29 jewels and is made from 175 components.
Lorige finishes the mainplate and bridges with its Duo-Tone treatment, combining microblasting, rhodium-plated sunray brushing and hand chamfering.

The watch is paired with a two-part Tech Hybrid strap that combines rubber and fabric, fitted with Lorige’s Quick&Release system.
The fold-over deployant clasp has two stainless-steel sliding buckles, 6mm of fine adjustment and a hand-polished and satin-finished execution with a Cool Grey lacquered Lorige logo.

The BL-Evolution Competition is the kind of watch that will make most sense to collectors who care about material provenance as much as mechanical finishing.

By turning race-used carbon/carbon into the structure of the watch itself, Lorige gives this limited edition a tangible link to Le Mans rather than a purely decorative one.
