Longines has introduced the HydroConquest Commonwealth Games Limited Edition, a sportier take on its recently updated dive watch made to mark the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The release continues a relationship between Longines and the Commonwealth Games that reaches back to 1962, with the Swiss brand serving as Official Timekeeper for Glasgow 2026.
A Modern HydroConquest in Two Practical Sizes
The watch is offered in 39mm and 42mm stainless steel cases, both measuring 11.7mm thick.

That gives buyers a useful choice between a more compact everyday fit and a larger, more traditional sports-watch presence, while keeping the same 300-metre water resistance, screw-down crown and black ceramic bezel.
Unlike the standard current-generation HydroConquest models on bracelet, this edition is fitted to a black rubber strap with a steel double-folding clasp and micro-adjustment.
Glasgow 2026 Colours Without Overplaying the Theme
The dial is where this limited edition separates itself most clearly from the regular collection.

Longines has used a teal-to-black lacquered gradient dial, matched with teal numerals on the ceramic bezel, a violet HydroConquest signature and a pink-tipped seconds hand.
The colour choices connect the watch to the Glasgow 2026 visual identity, but the execution remains restrained enough for daily wear rather than feeling like a souvenir piece.
Applied rhodium-plated indexes and hands use Super-LumiNova, with green and blue emission adding another subtle layer of character in low light.

The L888.5 Movement and Limited Production
Inside is the Longines calibre L888.5, an automatic movement running at 25,200 vibrations per hour with a 72-hour power reserve.
The movement also uses a silicon balance spring and offers magnetic resistance well beyond the ISO 764 requirement, which is a meaningful advantage in a modern everyday sports watch.
The commemorative detail is kept mainly to the closed caseback, which carries the Glasgow 2026 logo and limited-edition engraving.

Each size is limited to 2,026 pieces, a direct nod to the year of the Games.
Price and Availability in Australia
The Longines HydroConquest Commonwealth Games Limited Edition is priced at A$3,550 in both 39mm and 42mm versions.
It is available through Longines boutiques and the brand’s online store.
For collectors who want the newest HydroConquest platform with a more distinctive dial and a clear sporting connection, this edition adds just enough personality without compromising the practical strengths of the collection.
