The Dolder Grand is giving Zurich a late-season dose of the Côte d’Azur with Le Club Riviera, a restaurant pop-up built around the food, wine and easy glamour of southern France.
Running from 28 August until the end of October 2026, the concept is designed for the stretch of the year when summer technically fades but nobody is quite ready to let it go.
Expect Riviera cues without the costume drama, from Mediterranean sharing plates to linen, warm lighting and a palette that nods to terraces in Saint-Tropez.

At a glance
- The Dolder Grand will open Le Club Riviera in Zurich from 28 August until the end of October 2026.
- The pop-up brings southern French dining into focus with seafood, Provençal flavours, Riviera-inspired desserts and a dedicated bar menu.
- The concept is led by two-Michelin-starred Culinary Director Heiko Neider and is aimed at guests looking for a relaxed Côte d’Azur mood in the city.
A Riviera pop-up above Zurich
Le Club Riviera is less about transporting a beach club wholesale to Switzerland and more about capturing the rhythm of a long coastal evening.
The room is dressed with red and white accents, natural materials, fresh linen and soft lighting, creating a setting that should feel polished without becoming formal.
That balance matters at The Dolder Grand, where the hotel’s reputation is built on grand hospitality but its best seasonal concepts tend to work when they feel relaxed enough to linger.

Mediterranean plates made for sharing
The menu leans into the sunny overlap between southern French cooking and Italian tradition.
It’s a light, seasonal selection shaped around sharing, with garden vegetables, freshly pressed olive oil and seafood playing central roles.
Dishes include crudités, oysters, a seafood tower for two and the Dolder Bouillabaisse, alongside spaghetti al limone with caviar.

Main-course territory moves from gilthead sea bream and sea bass à la Provençale to an entrecôte and lobster Surf & Turf served with sauce Choron and chilli.
The result is a menu that reads less like a formal tasting sequence and more like the kind of table that expands over conversation.
Saint-Tropez cues on the dessert menu
The Riviera mood carries into dessert with a light orange sorbet and La Tarte Tropézienne with peach and vanilla.

The latter is the most direct Saint-Tropez reference on the menu, bringing a classic coastal note to the end of the meal.
At the bar, special cocktails and Moët round out the idea, keeping the focus on aperitifs, bubbles and the unhurried pace associated with the French Mediterranean coast.
Heiko Neider’s late-summer brief
Two-Michelin-starred Culinary Director Heiko Neider leads the culinary direction for Le Club Riviera.

His brief is clear enough in spirit, with the pop-up built around sociable dining rather than spectacle for its own sake.
The appeal will be strongest for Zurich diners and hotel guests who want a seasonal restaurant experience with atmosphere, seafood and a little Riviera escapism, without leaving the city.
Le Club Riviera will run from 28 August until the end of October 2026 at The Dolder Grand, offering a polished way to stretch the feeling of summer into autumn.
