Kia Middle East and Africa is taking up residence inside one of Dubai’s most symbolic spaces for tomorrow’s ideas.
The brand has announced a strategic partnership with the Museum of the Future, creating a new platform for concept vehicles, mobility conversations and sustainability-led design.
It’s a natural fit for a carmaker increasingly positioning itself around electric mobility, flexible vehicle platforms and human-centred transport rather than simply new models.

At a glance
- Kia Middle East and Africa has formed a strategic partnership with the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
- The collaboration includes a dedicated exhibition area, vehicle display, Kia-branded EV chargers and public talks on future mobility.
- The space will showcase Kia concepts including the PV5 WKNDR, with the Kia MT potentially joining next year.
A permanent Kia presence inside the Museum of the Future
The partnership was formalised at a signing ceremony held at the Museum of the Future, attended by senior figures from both organisations along with media, partners and industry guests.
As part of the agreement, Kia will establish a dedicated presence within the museum, giving visitors a closer look at the brand’s latest thinking around mobility.
The exhibition space is designed to present Kia’s ideas in a more tactile setting, away from the conventional motor show floor and closer to the museum’s wider conversation about future living.

The current display will include the Kia PV5 WKNDR, a concept tied to the brand’s Platform Beyond Vehicle strategy.
The Kia MT may also be added next year, giving the installation room to evolve rather than remain a static product showcase.
Concept vehicles, EV charging and visitor experience
Kia will maintain a dedicated vehicle display on the museum’s second floor, making its mobility concepts part of the visitor journey through the building.

The partnership also includes Kia-branded EV chargers at the venue, a practical addition that ties the installation to the everyday realities of electric vehicle ownership.
That detail matters because the conversation around future mobility is increasingly about infrastructure as much as vehicle design.
A compelling EV is only one part of the equation, particularly in cities looking to make cleaner transport easier to adopt at scale.

Workshops and talks on the future of mobility
Beyond the display itself, Kia will host curated workshops and public talks at the museum.
The programme is set to bring together automotive professionals, entrepreneurs and technology leaders for discussions on electric vehicles, autonomous driving, connected mobility, smart infrastructure and sustainable transport models.
For the Museum of the Future, the collaboration expands its role as a public forum for technologies that are moving from concept to real-world use.
For Kia, it creates a regional stage where design, engineering and mobility strategy can be presented to a wider audience than traditional car buyers.
A partnership tied to the UAE’s mobility agenda
The collaboration arrives as the UAE continues to push major transport and sustainability goals, including the Dubai Self-Driving Transport Strategy and UAE Net Zero 2050.
Kia’s current electric vehicle range in the region includes models such as the EV9, EV6 and EV5, while its Platform Beyond Vehicle programme is led by the PV5.
Together, those products point to a broader strategy built around flexible mobility for smarter urban environments.
The museum setting gives that strategy a public-facing platform, one shaped less by sales messaging and more by how people may live, move and connect in the years ahead.
For visitors, the appeal is straightforward. Kia’s presence at the Museum of the Future offers a closer look at how a mainstream global carmaker is approaching electric transport, autonomous technology and the changing shape of mobility in cities.
