Karma Automotive has used the Concours at Wynn in Las Vegas to show a more assertive side of its identity.
The Eximius 1 is a one-off model and the first project from the American brand’s new high-end customisation programme, Eximius.
It’s a statement car in the old-fashioned sense, built around big numbers, visible carbon fibre and a cabin that leans into bespoke detailing.

At a glance
- Karma Automotive has unveiled the Eximius 1, a one-off model created under its new Eximius customisation programme.
- Power comes from a 6.2-litre V8 paired with a plug-in series-hybrid system for a combined 1,195 hp.
- Karma claims 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a 200 mph top speed.
A new custom programme with serious intent
The Eximius 1 matters because it introduces more than a single dramatic build.
It marks the first output from Eximius, Karma’s new high-end customisation programme, which gives the brand a platform for limited, highly personalised projects.
Rather than opening with a subtle trim exercise, Karma has gone straight for a car shaped around performance hardware and theatrical surfacing.

The result sits somewhere between a technology showcase and a coachbuilt statement piece, with enough mechanical detail to make it more than a styling concept.
Hybrid V8 power and track-minded hardware
At the centre of the Eximius 1 is a 6.2-litre V8 paired with a plug-in series-hybrid system.
Karma lists combined output at 1,195 hp, while the brand claims a 0-60 mph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.
The supporting hardware is in keeping with those figures.
The car uses carbon-ceramic brakes with two-piece slotted rotors, along with Öhlins semi-active dampers.
Those details give the Eximius 1 a more credible performance brief, particularly as high-output hybrid projects need braking and suspension technology capable of managing significant speed and mass.
Carbon fibre, blue paint and magnesium centre-lock wheels
The bodywork makes no attempt to hide the car’s intent.
Carbon fibre is used heavily across the exterior, with exposed sections worked into the blue paintwork rather than simply added as contrast trim.
The aero package is equally direct, with a front splitter, sculpted vents, a large rear diffuser and a tall rear wing.
It rides on 21-inch magnesium centre-lock wheels, a detail that adds to the competition-adjacent character without needing to spell it out.
Inside, the same blue-and-carbon theme continues through the cabin.
Recaro bucket seats are trimmed in Alcantara and leather, while billet aluminium pedals add a mechanical finishing touch.
