Horologically Unique has introduced the HU-01 Finale, a more refined follow-up to its Calatrava-inspired HU-01 with a smaller case, upgraded dial options and limited production across two variants.
The new model keeps the brand’s compact dress-watch language intact, but moves closer to vintage proportions while adding a more decorative edge than the earlier HU-01.
A 34mm case moves the HU-01 closer to its vintage influence
The HU-01 Finale measures 34mm across with a 41mm lug-to-lug length, making it noticeably more traditional on the wrist than the previous 36mm HU-01.

At 10.1mm thick, it is slightly taller than its predecessor, but the overall footprint should appeal to collectors who prefer small, formal watches with period-correct restraint.
Horologically Unique also offers the Finale with the option of a solid stainless steel case back, a detail that reinforces the old-school character of the watch.
Grey brushing or Burmese jade with diamond markers
The standard HU-01 Finale comes with a brushed grey dial, while the more unusual Finale Yu uses Burmese jade with a green-blue tone.

The Yu name references the Chinese character “玉,” meaning jade, and it gives the watch a distinctive material identity within a category often dominated by silver, black and enamel-style dials.
Both versions are set with lab-grown diamonds, using three baguette-cut stones and eight round brilliant-cut stones as hour markers.
It is a bold choice for such a restrained case shape, but it gives the Finale a sharper personality and separates it from more literal vintage dress-watch interpretations.

A hand-wound Peseux 7001 inside
Power comes from the Peseux/ETA 7001, a slim hand-wound movement long appreciated for its reliability and suitability in elegant dress watches.
The movement runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve, keeping the technical package simple and appropriate for the format.
Limited production and pricing
The HU-01 Finale will be produced in 80 pieces with the brushed grey dial, while the jade-dial Finale Yu is limited to just 30 pieces.

Pricing is set at $2,580 SGD, or about $2,014 USD, for the grey-dial Finale, and $2,980 SGD, or about $2,327 USD, for the Finale Yu.
Both models are available to order directly from Horologically Unique.
The Finale is best understood as a collector-focused refinement rather than a broad-market dress watch, especially in jade form, where the small case, stone dial and diamond setting create a much more specific proposition.
