Héron Marinor Rainbow White Adds a Cleaner Face to the Decompression Timer Diver

Héron’s Marinor has built a following by doing the dive-watch essentials well without sanding off the character.

The new Marinor Rainbow White keeps that compact, accessible formula, then changes the atmosphere with a metallic white dial and a steel countdown bezel.

It’s still a practical automatic diver with a decompression scale on the dial, but the lighter colourway gives the watch a noticeably sharper, more technical feel.

Instead of a coloured sapphire insert, the Marinor Rainbow White uses a steel bezel with a polished inner ring and a brushed outer countdown scale.

That pairing feels especially logical on a watch with a decompression table printed on the dial.

Once a stop time has been established, the countdown bezel lets the wearer track the remaining minutes in a clean, direct way.

It’s a small usability detail, but it helps the design feel like more than a novelty dial exercise.

The movement is the Miyota 9039, an automatic calibre known for being a slim, dependable workhorse.

It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve, which suits the watch’s value-driven positioning.
