The Rimac Nevera R has moved from reveal car to customer reality.
The first example of the track-focused electric hypercar has been delivered at the factory, with the handover shared by @sho_billions1 and Mate Rimac, CEO of Rimac Automobili, present alongside the owner.
It’s a significant moment for one of the most extreme EVs currently in production, not least because the Nevera R is limited to just 40 units.

At a glance
- The first Rimac Nevera R has been delivered following a factory handover ceremony.
- The limited-run electric hypercar produces 2,107 hp and is positioned as a more track-focused evolution of the Nevera.
- Production is capped at 40 units, with claimed performance including 0-60 mph in 1.74 seconds and a 256 mph top speed.
A sharper Nevera for circuit-minded owners
The Nevera R takes Rimac’s electric hypercar formula and pushes it toward a more aggressive, circuit-biased brief.
The redesign is immediately visible at the front, where a new nose section, prominent splitter and additional intakes give the car a more purposeful stance.
At the rear, the bodywork has been reshaped with a more sculpted treatment and a fixed spoiler featuring large end plates and a central support pylon.
Those aerodynamic changes are said to deliver a 15 percent improvement in downforce, a meaningful shift for a car already operating in extreme performance territory.
Power, grip and the Nevera R’s performance brief
The Nevera R is powered by Rimac’s next-generation 108 kWh battery and produces 2,107 hp.
Rimac’s claimed figures put 0-60 mph at just 1.74 seconds, while top speed is listed at 256 mph.
The car also rides on new wheels wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 tires, which are said to reduce understeer and improve lateral grip.
That detail matters because the Nevera R isn’t just about bigger headline numbers.
The package points to a car designed to feel more committed at speed, with aerodynamic balance and tire response playing as much of a role as outright power.
Limited production and delivery context
Only 40 examples of the Nevera R are planned, placing it firmly in the collector-grade end of the electric hypercar market.
The first delivery at the factory gives the model a clear milestone beyond its technical claims, moving it into the hands of an owner rather than remaining a showpiece.
For Rimac, the moment also reinforces the brand’s unusual position in the performance car world.
It’s building battery-electric hypercars with figures that sit beyond traditional combustion benchmarks, while continuing to frame them around handling, aerodynamics and limited-production desirability.

The first delivered Nevera R shows Rimac’s most focused hypercar entering its customer chapter, and for the small group of owners allocated one, the appeal lies in a rare mix of radical EV performance, track-oriented hardware and genuine scarcity.
