Fairmont Turns the UAE Heat Into Summer Perks in Dubai and Fujairah

Summer in the UAE has a rhythm of its own, and Fairmont is leaning into it rather than pretending the heat isn’t part of the season.

From 19 August to 31 August, Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort will run Summer Rewards, a two-week pop-up built around temperature-triggered perks for hotel guests.

The idea is simple and playful: as the mercury rises, so do the reasons to linger by the pool.

    At a glance

    • Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort will offer temperature-led Summer Rewards from 19 August to 31 August.
    • At 45°C, eligible guests can unlock complimentary late checkout, subject to availability, plus continued pool access after checkout.
    • Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort adds Heatwave Happy Hour, with selected beverage discounts and frozen treats tied to higher temperatures.

The central experience, called Too Hot to Leave, turns a 45°C day into an invitation to stretch out the stay a little longer.

At both Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, guests can receive a complimentary late checkout when temperatures hit that mark, subject to availability.

The offer also includes continued access to the pool after checkout, giving the day a more relaxed pace instead of a hard stop at midday.

Poolside, guests will also be served a complimentary summer wellness shot, adding a small cooling ritual to the experience.

    City skyline or Fujairah coastline

The two participating hotels give the activation distinct moods.

At Fairmont Dubai, the appeal sits in the contrast between a city stay and a resort-style afternoon, with views toward the Burj Khalifa and time by the pool after checkout.

At Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, the offer feels more coastal, shaped by the resort’s poolside setting and the slower tempo of a beach escape.

In both cases, the premise is less about escaping the season and more about making the most of it with a few timely comforts.

    Heatwave Happy Hour in Fujairah

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort adds a second layer with Heatwave Happy Hour, a resort-only reward mechanic that becomes more generous as temperatures climb.

When the temperature reaches 45°C, hotel guests can enjoy 50% off beverages from a selected menu.

At 47°C, guests can unlock complimentary ice cream or a fruit skewer, bringing the experience into classic summer territory without overcomplicating it.

It’s a clever fit for Fujairah’s poolside setting, where the reward structure gives guests another reason to gather, cool down and stay social through the afternoon.

A short August window for spontaneous summer stays

Summer Rewards is available for two weeks only, from 19 August to 31 August, making it a compact seasonal activation rather than an open-ended hotel package.

That limited window suits the concept, which relies on spontaneity and the small theatre of watching the day’s temperature unlock something extra.

For guests already planning a late-summer stay in Dubai or Fujairah, the offer adds practical value in the form of time, pool access and refreshments.

For locals considering a quick hotel break, it gives the UAE’s peak summer heat a more enjoyable role in the day.

Fairmont’s Summer Rewards won’t change the weather, but it does reframe it neatly: not as an inconvenience, but as the trigger for a few welcome extras when the day gets especially hot.
