Dartz Vehicles has never been shy about theatrical automotive ideas, but its real-life take on the HVY Nightshark pushes the brief into unusually specific territory.
The Latvian automaker is translating the GTA Online SUV into a physical machine, and the newly shown cabin is less limousine lounge than rolling gaming bunker.
Instead of the expected rear-seat luxury treatment, this Nightshark is built around a single central passenger position, a huge screen and a former fighter-jet ejection seat.

At a glance
- Dartz Vehicles is building a real-life interpretation of the HVY Nightshark from GTA Online.
- The rear cabin has been configured as a private gaming area with a massive LED screen, gaming console, premium audio and Metaxas & Sins electrostatic headphones.
- The cabin uses one central passenger seat, a former fighter-jet ejection seat with a 5-point harness, rather than a conventional rear bench or pair of lounge chairs.
A GTA cabin built for one player
The most revealing detail is what Dartz chose not to do.
A million-dollar SUV would usually default to deep reclining chairs, massage functions and an abundance of polished trim, but the Nightshark’s rear compartment follows a more eccentric logic.
The passenger sits alone in the middle of the cabin, facing a large LED screen connected to a gaming console.

A high-end sound system and Metaxas & Sins electrostatic headphones complete the setup, making the back of the SUV feel closer to a private gaming room than a chauffeured lounge.
That single-seat arrangement is central to the concept, because the vehicle isn’t trying to imitate a traditional luxury SUV.
It’s trying to carry the atmosphere of GTA Online into the physical cabin.

The fighter-jet seat changes the mood
The centrepiece is a former fighter-jet ejection seat mounted where rear passengers would normally sit.
Dartz has paired it with a 5-point harness, giving the cabin the visual language of military aviation rather than executive transport.
Leonard F. Yankelovich, the founder of Dartz, framed the decision as a direct response to the car’s gaming identity.

“The obvious solution for a million-dollar car is two massage seats in the back,” Yankelovich said. “But this is the Nightshark. It came from a game. So the customer wanted the whole world of the game inside it.”
That idea also explains the small design jokes hidden in the concept, including a buckle imagined as a weapon wheel.
The result is deliberately theatrical, but it’s not random.

Animal-free luxury with Dartz theatrics
The brief also came with one clear limitation.
The customer wanted drama, comfort and high-end material execution, but without real animal skin.
“He knew our history and he knew we could go extreme with materials,” Yankelovich said. “But he was very clear: no real animal skin. Give me the luxury, the comfort and the drama, but do it without killing the animal.”

That’s an interesting pivot for a brand long associated with outrageous cabins and maximalist tastes.
Here, the excess remains, but the material direction has been shaped by a more contemporary kind of buyer sensitivity.

The Nightshark’s appeal won’t be universal, and that’s clearly part of the point.
For a collector who wants a conventional ultra-luxury SUV, this will feel absurd; for someone who wants a drivable extension of a game world, Dartz has understood the assignment with unusual commitment.
