The BMW M2 has just added a serious Nürburgring credential to its résumé.
Fitted with the M Performance Track Kit, the compact M car lapped the Nordschleife in 7:25.068 on 22 May, with the time officially verified by TÜV Rheinland.
That number matters not only because it beats the previous M2 CS benchmark by half a second, but because the run came with high track temperatures and oil traces through the demanding T13 section.
