Audi has sharpened the A6 with a limited-run Black Edition that leans into darker detailing without turning the executive sedan into something shouty.
Called the A6 45 TFSI quattro S line Black Edition, it brings a more assertive visual package, quattro all-wheel drive and a notably small production run.
Only 100 examples will be built, and the model is reserved for South Korea.

At a glance
- Audi has launched the A6 45 TFSI quattro S line Black Edition as a 100-unit limited model.
- The package adds black and dark-chrome exterior detailing, 21-inch Audi Sport wheels, red brake calipers and a high-spec cabin.
- It is exclusive to South Korea and is priced at 94.9 million won, roughly $70,000.
A darker take on the executive A6
The Black Edition is built around the A6 45 TFSI quattro, but its character is shaped by a more focused exterior treatment.
The mirror caps, window trim, Audi badges, door handles and exhaust outlets move to black or dark-chrome finishes, giving the sedan a cleaner and more purposeful stance.
It also rides on 21-inch Audi Sport wheels, with bright red brake calipers adding a sharper visual break behind the spokes.

The package includes Matrix LED headlights and second-generation digital OLED taillights, both useful reminders that this isn’t just a cosmetic badge exercise.
A panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency is also included, adding a more technical flourish to the A6’s otherwise discreet luxury brief.
Cabin technology and trim
Inside, the Black Edition follows Audi’s familiar digital-first approach, led by an 11.9-inch digital cockpit and dual infotainment displays.

Carbon-fibre trim gives the cabin a sportier tone, while the Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system pushes the specification further into premium territory.
It’s the kind of package aimed at buyers who want the A6’s measured executive feel, but with a little more visual weight and equipment baked in.
Quattro traction with 272 hp
Power comes from a 2.0-litre TFSI engine producing 272 hp.

A 7-speed S tronic transmission sends power through Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, helping the sedan reach 62 mph in 6.2 seconds.
Top speed is listed at 155 mph.
Audi has also added S sport suspension and all-wheel steering, which should give this version a more composed and responsive feel than its appearance alone suggests.

With just 100 cars planned, the A6 Black Edition is less about reinventing Audi’s executive sedan and more about giving a well-known formula a rarer, sharper-edged specification.
For South Korean buyers who want an A6 with stronger road presence and a meaningful limited-production angle, this is likely to be the one that gets noticed first.
