Audemars Piguet is ending 2026 with a pointed reminder of its range, from chiming complication work to jewel-like dial craft.
The latest group comprises five watches split between the Royal Oak and Code 11.59 families, with three Minute Repeater Supersonnerie models and two smaller Code 11.59 Selfwinding pieces using volcanic stone dials.
It’s a release that speaks to two very different sides of the manufacture, one technical and acoustic, the other decorative and tactile.

At a glance
- Audemars Piguet has introduced five late-2026 watches across Royal Oak and Code 11.59.
- The trio of Minute Repeater Supersonnerie models use calibre 2953, while the stone-dial Code 11.59 duo uses calibre 5909.
- The three chiming watches are price on request, while the Code 11.59 Obsidian is £45,300 and the Onyx is £53,900.
Royal Oak Supersonnerie in titanium and pink gold
The Royal Oak Minute Repeater Supersonnerie arrives in two 42mm versions, each 14mm thick and built around the collection’s familiar octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet.
Reference 26591TI.OO.1252TI.08 is made in titanium, while reference 26591OR.OO.1252OR.01 is made in pink gold.
The minute repeater slider sits on the case flank at 9 o’clock, activating a chiming mechanism that sounds the time through the movement’s gongs and hammers.

The technical anchor is Audemars Piguet’s Supersonnerie architecture, introduced with the 2016 RD#1 and used here through calibre 2953.
The system uses a special case and movement construction with caseback perforations designed to help amplify the sound of the repeater.
Audemars Piguet developed the patented gongs and soundboards in partnership with musicians and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne.

Despite the perforated caseback construction, both Royal Oak Supersonnerie models carry a 20-metre water resistance rating.
The two watches take notably different visual routes.
The pink gold version uses a brown tapisserie dial with pink gold accents, giving the Royal Oak’s signature texture a warmer, more traditional frame.

The titanium model swaps that pattern for a smooth sunray-brushed green dial with a fumé gradient, a cleaner and more contemporary counterpoint to the acoustic complication inside.
A smoked-sapphire Code 11.59 minute repeater
The third Supersonnerie model brings the same calibre 2953 into the Code 11.59 line.
Its case is made from white gold and is listed at 42mm in diameter and 13.6mm thick, with the same 20-metre water resistance as the Royal Oak minute repeaters.

The dial is the point of separation.
A smoked sapphire crystal dial reveals the movement beneath, with white gold hands and timing scales integrated into the display.
That open view highlights finishing elements including brushing, polished chamfers and perlage.

Because of the Supersonnerie construction, the gongs and hammers sit on the rear of the movement, closer to the perforated caseback, so they aren’t visible through the front.
A grey alligator leather strap keeps the watch within a restrained monochrome palette.
Against the more architectural Code 11.59 case, the smoked sapphire dial and visible screws give the model a sharper, more mechanical character than the stone-dial watches released alongside it.

Obsidian and onyx bring a quieter Code 11.59 mood
The remaining two watches are Code 11.59 Selfwinding 38mm models, each measuring 9.6mm thick and taking a more classic dress-watch route.
Both are built around volcanic stone dials, but they interpret the idea differently.
The Obsidian model pairs a yellow gold case with a textured sunray dial in obsidian, facetted yellow gold hour markers and a peripheral 60-minute scale.

The Onyx model has a smoother, glassier dial surface and uses baguette-cut diamond hour markers.
Both watches are powered by the automatic calibre 5909, which has a 60-hour power reserve.
The Code 11.59 Selfwinding 38mm Obsidian is priced at £45,300, while the Onyx version is priced at £53,900, reflecting the additional diamond-set detailing.
