Armin Strom’s Tribute line has always been the quieter doorway into the brand’s world of independent watchmaking.
The Tribute³ Au750 changes the temperature without changing the character, taking the compact dress watch and giving it an unusually complete rose gold treatment across the case, dial and visible movement architecture.
It’s lavish on paper, but the execution is restrained, technical and very much in line with the Grenchen manufacture’s taste for asymmetry.

A quieter Armin Strom with a full gold treatment
The Tribute³ Au750 sits inside Armin Strom’s System 78 family, the collection that distils the brand’s independent manufacture approach into slimmer, more wearable watches.
Where the maison’s Resonance and Masterpiece creations are often defined by open mechanical drama, the Tribute keeps things compact and more formally dressed.
This new version is the most indulgent expression of the Tribute idea so far.

An earlier rose gold Tribute placed the precious metal primarily on the exterior, while the Tribute³ Au750 carries the theme much further.
The 18k rose gold case is joined by a rose gold dial plate, a rose gold off-centred time display, a rose gold barrel cover and rose gold bridges visible through the sapphire caseback.
Armin Strom has stopped short of making every component gold, which helps the watch avoid feeling heavy-handed.

The screws, hands, chapter ring, logo and selected technical parts bring enough contrast to keep the composition precise rather than monochromatic.
Guilloché gives the dial its tension
The Tribute layout is familiar, with the time display shifted away from the centre and the barrel shown prominently toward the lower part of the dial.
That asymmetry is one of the reasons the model works as an Armin Strom dress watch rather than a conventional precious-metal three-hander.

Two hand-guilloché patterns create most of the visual interest.
The off-centred sub-dial receives a radiating sunburst pattern, while the larger dial plate is finished with a barleycorn motif.
The chapter ring is grey and frosted, framing the time display with a railway-style minute track and black Roman numerals.

For the first time in the Tribute family, Armin Strom uses Breguet-style hands, here executed in grey PVD-coated steel.
That choice pulls the watch toward a more classical register, though the architecture remains unmistakably contemporary.
At 38mm across and 9.38mm thick, the case keeps the watch firmly in dress territory.

The crown at 2 o’clock, the small lip at 6 o’clock and the angular lugs preserve the model’s distinctive stance.
The motor barrel remains the mechanical focal point
The Tribute³ Au750 may display only hours, minutes and seconds, but the visible barrel is more than a design flourish.
It houses Armin Strom’s motor-barrel architecture, a compact system designed to improve efficiency while reducing friction and wear.

The result is a 100-hour power reserve from the hand-wound calibre AMW21.
The barrel is secured on the dial side by a rounded, hand-bevelled finger bridge, mirror-polished and made in rose gold for this edition.
Turn the watch over and the movement continues the same language.

The three-quarter bridge is rose gold and decorated with clou de Paris guilloché, with hand-bevelled edges adding the sort of detail that rewards close inspection.
The balance bridge is also rendered in rose gold, and the compact movement measures just 4.2mm thick.
Armin Strom produces 97 percent of the calibre components in-house, and the movement is assembled twice, a demanding practice associated with fine adjustment and finishing control.

Frosting, circular graining and black-polished screws round out the finish, preventing the gold surfaces from becoming the only story.

The Tribute³ Au750 is not the loudest Armin Strom, and that is precisely its appeal.
It brings the brand’s mechanical identity into a warmer, more traditional dress-watch frame, while keeping enough exposed engineering and asymmetry to feel unmistakably independent.
