Anthony Hamilton is preparing to part with a private car collection that reflects a deep affection for British performance machinery.
The father and former manager of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will offer 27 cars at auction, with the group valued at more than £3 million, or roughly $3.8 million to $4 million.
The sale lands in a fitting setting, taking place at Silverstone during the British Racing Drivers’ Club Classic weekend.

The Edition 507 is remembered for pairing compact AMG attitude with a naturally aspirated V8, giving it strong appeal among modern Mercedes enthusiasts.
Another Mercedes-Benz in the group is a 1989 300SL, previously owned by heavyweight boxer Billy Walker.
