Yema Gives the Superman Bronze CMM.10 Three Glossy New Dials

Yema’s Superman has always had a way of making tool-watch details feel a little more characterful than expected.

The latest Superman Bronze CMM.10 leans into that strength with three glossy dial colours, a warm bronze case and the brand’s modern manufacture movement from Morteau.

It’s a compact, capable diver with a deliberately old-soul finish, but the new dials give it a sharper and more contemporary presence on the wrist.

The Superman Bronze CMM.10 keeps the dimensions that make this branch of the collection especially wearable.

The case measures 39mm across, 10.95mm thick without the crystal and 48mm lug to lug, giving it a presence that suits both vintage-dive-watch tastes and modern everyday use.

Yema uses a bronze case with vertically brushed surfaces and polished chamfers, a combination that gives the watch definition before the metal begins to age.

As with any bronze watch, the case will develop a patina through wear, humidity, handling and the owner’s environment.

The bezel is also bronze, finished with a circular brushing that contrasts neatly with the case flanks.

Its engraved 60-minute scale, luminous pip at 12 o’clock and Yema’s familiar bezel lock system keep the Superman identity intact.

A 2.2mm double-domed sapphire crystal completes the period-leaning profile, while the screw-down crown and 300m water resistance make clear that this is still built as a proper diver rather than a desk-bound tribute.

Brown, green and white bring a new dial mood

The main change is on the dial, where Yema has moved to glossy lacquer in three colours.

Brown is the most tonally connected to the bronze case, green gives the watch a richer field-watch-adjacent feel, and white offers the cleanest contrast against the gilt accents.

Each dial uses an applied gilt Yema logo, raised hour markers and diamond-cut hands with gilt coating.

The markers have also been reworked, giving these models a slightly more modern face than earlier Superman Bronze versions with printed geometric indices.

Grade A Super-LumiNova is used on the hands and hour markers, appearing beige in daylight before glowing bright green in low light.

That warmer lume tone is an important detail here, as it prevents the glossy lacquer and bronze from feeling too stark or newly minted.

The CMM.10 movement remains the serious upgrade

Inside the watch is Yema’s Calibre Manufacture Morteau 10, better known as the CMM.10.

The automatic movement is developed, assembled and regulated in Yema’s workshops in Morteau, France, and it has become a key part of the brand’s push into more technically ambitious watches.

It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a 70-hour power reserve from a large barrel.

Yema rates the movement to a chronometric performance of -3/+5 seconds per day, and the calibre is engineered for improved resistance to shocks and magnetic fields.

A sapphire display back offers a view of the movement, which is built around a symmetrical mainplate used as a foundation for Yema’s current generation of manufacture calibres.

A matching rubber strap keeps it practical

Each colourway is delivered on an integrated FKM Tropic-style rubber strap matched to the dial.

The brown, green and white straps give the watches a more complete colour story than a standard black rubber option would, while the material choice keeps the diver practical around water.

A brushed bronze pin buckle ties the strap hardware back to the case.

That detail matters on a bronze watch, where mismatched metals can easily interrupt the visual balance.
