Yema Gives the Navygraf a Meteorite Dial and Titanium Case

Yema has been steadily widening the Navygraf’s vocabulary, moving the French dive watch beyond the familiar boundaries of a straightforward tool piece.

The new Navygraf Meteorite CMM.10 is the most cosmic expression yet, using Muonionalusta meteorite for a dial that’s older than Earth itself, set inside a compact titanium case built for serious water resistance.

It arrives in black or green, limited to 150 individually numbered pieces, with Yema’s in-house automatic CMM.10 movement visible through the caseback.

A Navygraf with a dial from deep time

Meteorite dials can easily tip into novelty, but they make particular sense when the pattern is allowed to do the work without too much visual noise.

Here, Yema uses Muonionalusta meteorite, an iron-nickel material known for its Widmanstätten structure, the crystalline pattern revealed when the meteorite is cut and polished.

The effect isn’t uniform from one watch to the next, which is the point.

Depending on the light, the dial can look restrained and almost mineral, then suddenly show sharper geometric streaks as the angle changes.

Yema offers the dial in black or green, both paired with a white peripheral minutes and seconds track.

Applied hour markers and hands are filled with Grade A BGW9 Super-LumiNova, giving off a blue glow, while the triangle at 12 o’clock on the bezel is luminescent as well.

Titanium gives the diver a lighter technical character

The Navygraf Meteorite CMM.10 uses a 39mm titanium case, measuring 11mm thick and 46mm from lug to lug.

Those proportions keep it in a wearable zone, especially for a 300m dive watch with an automatic movement and display back.

The case is vertically brushed, with mirror-polished bevels along the lugs adding a cleaner edge to the silhouette.

It’s a different personality from Yema’s more famous Superman line, less defined by external hardware and more by the balance between vintage cues and contemporary finishing.

The 120-click unidirectional bezel uses a black stainless-steel insert with a 0 to 60-minute scale for elapsed-time timing.

Above the dial sits a 2.2mm double-domed sapphire crystal, chosen to preserve the curved look associated with older acrylic crystals while offering modern scratch resistance.

A sapphire display back shows the movement, with the surrounding circularly brushed titanium ring carrying the individual limited-edition and serial numbers.

The CMM.10 movement inside

Inside is Yema’s CMM.10 automatic calibre, the same manufacture movement used in the Navygraf Marine Nationale CMM.10.

The calibre was developed with Olivier Mory and is assembled by Yema’s watchmakers in Morteau, France.

It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 70-hour power reserve, helped by a large barrel.

Yema specifies performance of -3 to +5 seconds per day, along with high resistance to magnetic fields and shocks.

The technical package includes a unidirectional rotor on ball bearings, 208 components, 27 jewels, a transversal bridge, Glucydur balance wheel, non-magnetic alloys and Incabloc shock absorbers.

Details & Specifications

The Navygraf Meteorite CMM.10 should appeal to collectors who like the practicality of a compact titanium diver but want something more individual than another matte black dial.

It’s still recognisably a Navygraf, yet the meteorite surface, French-assembled movement and restrained case dimensions give this limited edition a stronger identity than its spec sheet alone suggests.
