This is a compact, polished and notably wearable dress watch, built around a 36mm stainless-steel case and a dial layout that feels more traditional than the existing Seris Date models.

A compact Seris with a more classical dial
The Seris Small Second keeps the collection’s dressier personality but shifts the visual balance with a separate seconds display at 6 o’clock.
The case measures 36mm across, 42.67mm lug to lug and 9.88mm thick, which gives it a neat profile without making it feel overly delicate.
Union Glashütte uses 316L stainless steel for the case, with a domed sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
A screw-down sapphire caseback shows the movement, while water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
The dial layout places the hours and minutes centrally, with the small seconds and date brought together at the bottom of the dial.
Depending on the version, that lower display is framed by either a chrome or gold-coloured element, adding definition without overcrowding the face.
Three dial treatments for different tastes
The blue model has a deep sunray finish and comes on a stainless-steel bracelet, making it the most versatile of the three.
The champagne version uses an embossed sunburst pattern and is paired with a dark brown calfskin strap.
The matte white model takes a softer approach, using rose-gold-coloured accents and a taupe calfskin leather strap.
All three versions use polished indexes, which suits the Seris brief without pushing the watch into jewellery-watch territory.
Each strap or bracelet is fitted with a double-folding clasp with two push-buttons.
The UNG-28.S1 movement adds useful range
Inside the Seris Small Second is the automatic UNG-28.S1, an evolution of the ETA 2892 platform adapted with small seconds and a longer running time.
The movement runs at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of around 60 hours.
It also uses a silicon hairspring, which brings stronger resistance to magnetism and better long-term stability than a conventional hairspring.
A stop-seconds function is included, allowing more precise time setting.
