Tissot’s PRX has always worked because it makes the integrated-bracelet language feel approachable rather than precious.
With the PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition, the brand pushes that formula into a more expressive space, pairing a larger case with an openworked, hand-wound movement and a very basketball-specific set of references.
It’s also the second PRX created with Damian Lillard, following an earlier 40mm Powermatic 80 model with gold PVD accents.

At a glance
- Tissot has introduced the PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition, the first skeletonised and hand-wound PRX.
- The watch uses a 44mm stainless steel case, an openworked ETA Unitas 6497-based movement and burgundy design details tied to Lillard’s “Dame Time” identity.
- It is priced at CHF 1,735 or EUR 1,895 and includes leather and rubber straps plus a pocket-watch conversion set.
A larger PRX with Dame Time details
The new Damian Lillard edition is the largest PRX to date, with a 44mm stainless steel case that keeps the collection’s integrated design language intact.
That size matters because the PRX is usually defined by its clean case geometry and easy-wearing proportions, while this version is clearly meant to make more of a statement.
Its connection to Lillard is handled through specific case details rather than a simple colour swap.

“Dame Time” engravings appear on the left side of the case, while the transparent caseback carries Damian Lillard’s signature.
The case is fitted with sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and is rated to 100 metres of water resistance.
Burgundy framing and an openworked dial
The burgundy scheme gives the watch its visual identity and runs through the dial architecture rather than sitting only on the strap.

A burgundy ring frames the openworked movement and carries the hour markers, while a second matching ring supports the faceted markers from the opposite side.
The running seconds display gets its own burgundy ring with “Dame Time” inscriptions, paired with an inclined gold-coloured track.
The seconds hand is shaped like Lillard’s monogram, a detail that makes the collaboration feel more personal without overwhelming the mechanics underneath.

Super-LumiNova is used on the hour and minute hands as well as the indices, giving the open dial a practical layer in low light.
The PRX gets its first hand-wound movement
The most significant change is mechanical.
This is the first hand-wound PRX, moving the collection away from the automatic Powermatic 80 format most closely associated with its modern mechanical models.

The skeleton movement is based on the ETA Unitas 6497, a hand-wound calibre Tissot has used in other watches.
It runs at 18,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 46-hour power reserve.
In this setting, the daily act of winding becomes part of the experience, which suits a watch designed to put its movement on show.

Straps and the pocket-watch surprise
Tissot supplies the PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard with two burgundy straps, one in rubber and one in leather.
The rubber strap has a crosshatched pattern inspired by milk crates used as makeshift basketball hoops, a nod to the improvised courts of Lillard’s childhood.
Both straps use a quick-release system and are secured with a branded pin buckle.

The more unexpected addition is a dedicated pocket-watch conversion set.
It’s an unusual idea for an integrated-design sports watch, but it fits the character of this edition, which is less concerned with preserving PRX orthodoxy and more interested in stretching the format.

For PRX collectors, this is the line at its most extroverted, with a bigger case, exposed mechanics and a sports-culture reference that feels built into the object rather than pasted on.

It won’t be the quietest PRX in the room, but that’s clearly the point.
