TAG Heuer has expanded the Formula 1 Solargraph line with five new 38mm pastel editions, bringing a softer, more color-driven direction to one of the brand’s most recognizable entry points into Swiss sports watches.
Introduced during the Miami Grand Prix, the collection keeps the Formula 1’s motorsport-adjacent attitude but shifts the tone toward summer color, light-powered practicality and limited-production appeal.
Pastel TH-Polylight Cases With Matching Rubber Straps
Three of the new models use TAG Heuer’s TH-Polylight case construction in pastel blue, pastel pink and beige, each paired with a matching rubber strap and color-coordinated bidirectional bezel.
The 38mm cases are matched with milky opaline dials, applied indexes with Super-LumiNova, a date window at 3 o’clock and 100 meters of water resistance.
These are the most playful pieces in the set, and they feel closest to the early Formula 1’s reputation for color, accessibility and a willingness to look less serious than the rest of the pit lane.
Steel Bracelet Editions Add Diamonds and Contrast
The other two models move into sandblasted stainless steel cases with three-row steel bracelets, while keeping the TH-Polylight bezel as a visual link to the rest of the Solargraph family.
One version uses a pastel green opaline dial with a matching green flange and central seconds hand, while the lavender-blue model combines a pastel blue dial with a pastel pink minuterie and central seconds hand.
Both steel models include rhodium-plated shield indexes at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock with Super-LumiNova, joined by eight VS diamond indexes for a more polished take on the Formula 1 formula.
Solargraph Keeps the Formula Simple
All five watches are powered by TAG Heuer’s Caliber TH50-00 Solargraph movement, which charges from natural or artificial light and removes the routine battery-change concern of a conventional quartz watch.
Two minutes of direct sunlight can provide roughly a full day of running time, while a complete charge delivers up to 10 months of autonomy in total darkness.
Pricing and Limited Production
The TH-Polylight rubber-strap editions are priced at CHF 1,850, with production limited to 3,500 pieces in beige, 3,000 pieces in pastel blue and 2,500 pieces in pastel pink.
The stainless steel bracelet editions are priced at CHF 2,650, limited to 1,500 pieces for the pastel green model and 1,000 pieces for the lavender-blue version.
For collectors who remember the Formula 1 as a fun first Swiss watch, these Solargraph releases land in familiar territory: wearable, colorful, technically straightforward and clearly designed for people who want a TAG Heuer with personality rather than ceremony.
