A mantis-green dial built for daylight and darkness

Under the bright dial is the updated second-generation 02SERIES case, now measuring 37.5mm across and 11.5mm thick.

The 46mm lug-to-lug measurement should keep it approachable for a wide range of wrists, while the stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, signed crown and screw-down caseback give the watch a practical everyday foundation.
Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, which keeps the Mantis aligned with the more usable side of Studio Underd0g’s catalogue rather than treating it as a purely decorative special edition.
Inside is the Sellita SW200-2 M, running at 4Hz with hacking seconds and a 63-hour power reserve.
As with the brand’s other watches, assembly takes place in Great Britain at Studio Underd0g’s in-house facility, The D0ghouse.
A green suede strap to match the dial’s character
The supplied strap is a deep forest-green washed suede design from The Strap Tailor in a shade called Herb.
It measures 18mm at the lugs and tapers to 16mm at the steel buckle, which should help keep the watch feeling refined despite the dial’s high-volume personality.
Quick-release spring bars are fitted as standard, so owners can swap straps without tools.
That flexibility feels particularly useful here, since the Mantis could read very differently on darker leather, rubber or a more neutral textile strap.
