After more than 564,000 fans attended this year’s race weekend, the British Grand Prix has become one of the most in-demand live sporting events anywhere in the world.
For many guests, the draw is no longer just a grandstand seat and a view of the circuit. It’s a full weekend built around dining, access, music and the particular electricity of Formula 1 at close range.

Silverstone is still defined by its fast corners, unpredictable weather and deep motorsport history, but the modern race weekend has expanded into something more layered.
Hospitality demand grew by 27 percent in 2026 compared with 2025, reflecting how quickly expectations have shifted among guests who want comfort, access and atmosphere alongside the racing.
That appetite is especially visible at Silverstone because the venue has the rare advantage of heritage and spectacle in equal measure.
The Vale brings fine dining and paddock proximity to Silverstone
The Vale made its debut this year as Silverstone’s most elevated hospitality setting, positioned just steps from the Formula 1 paddock.
Its vantage point takes in the pit entry and the circuit’s final sequence of corners, which gives guests a strategically interesting view as well as a highly desirable one.
The experience was shaped around a more intimate version of race-weekend luxury, with menus from two-time Michelin star winner Jonny Lake and a sommelier-led drinks programme.
Guests also had access to current Formula 1 drivers and team principals, adding the kind of proximity that has become increasingly difficult to secure as the sport’s global audience grows.
The Vale also leaned into culture beyond the track, displaying contemporary art and sculpture valued collectively at £1 million.
Highlights included Banksy’s Girl with Balloon, Simon Berger’s Glass portrait carved with a hammer and a live performance by Fillin Guas connected to a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup art car.
Octane Terrace and Fusion Lounge take two different routes
Octane Terrace has evolved into Silverstone’s high-energy hospitality option, trading the quiet-room formula for a festival-minded atmosphere.
For 2026, the space became a two-storey nightclub with sets from Jax Jones and MistaJam, alongside menus curated by five celebrity chefs.
Its culinary programme also included a strong sustainability note, with plant-based chef Kirk Haworth serving more than 3,300 dishes during the weekend.
Fusion Lounge takes a more polished approach, with more than 2,000 guests experiencing the space this year, including a new VIP area created in partnership with Moët Hennessy.
The Moët & Chandon Club added a Champagne-led layer to the lounge, while AP&Co delivered a dining format centred on discovery, flexibility and theatre.
The menu highlighted British provenance and luxury ingredients, including Surrey Farm Beef Wellington, F1 Wagyu Nigiri and Exmoor caviar.
Across Fusion Lounge and Torque Club, Champagne service played a prominent role, with more than 10,000 flutes served in Fusion Lounge and more than 11,000 in Torque Club.
Octane Terrace added a cocktail-bar character to the weekend, with 3,000 cocktails served from Satan’s Whiskers and The Dorchester cocktail bar.

Silverstone’s guest programme has also become a stage for Formula 1 personalities, with recent hospitality appearances including Nico Hulkenberg, Zak Brown, Esteban Ocon, David Croft and Alisha Palmowski.
