Seiko Adds Corcovado and Daiquiri to the Presage Cocktail Time GMT Line

Seiko’s Cocktail Time watches have always been at their best when they treat colour as the main event.

The new Presage Cocktail Time GMT ‘Corcovado’ and ‘Daiquiri’ continue that idea with two travel-ready automatics dressed in warmer, more formal tones than the spring’s ‘Silver Bullet’ edition.

Both models keep the collection’s familiar mix of bar-counter polish and everyday practicality, while adding a second time zone display through Seiko’s 4R34 movement.

Cocktail Time turns toward travel

The GMT complication gives these Presage models a more practical brief than the usual dress-leaning Cocktail Time formula.

A 24-hour display allows the wearer to track a second time zone, which makes the watches useful for travel, overseas calls or simply keeping an eye on home time while away.

That said, these are still refined Presage pieces rather than rugged expedition watches.

The 40.5mm stainless steel case and 12.8mm thickness give them enough presence for a GMT, while the 50m water resistance keeps the character closer to airport lounges, hotel bars and business trips than anything especially outdoorsy.

Corcovado brings blue into a rose gold tone case

The ‘Corcovado’ is the more dramatic of the two, pairing a deep blue sunray dial with a rose gold-coloured stainless steel case.

Its name comes from a cocktail associated with tequila and blue curaçao, and while the watch reads richer than pale aquamarine, the connection is clear in the intensity of the dial.

The wedge-shaped hour markers pick up the warmth of the case finish, giving the watch a sharper and more evening-ready feel than a plain steel Cocktail Time.

This version is fitted to an LWG-certified leather strap with a three-fold push-button clasp, reinforcing its dressier mood.

Daiquiri keeps the formula crisp and classical

The ‘Daiquiri’ takes a cleaner route with a white dial and a yellow gold-coloured stainless steel case.

Its cocktail cue comes through the white rum of a traditional daiquiri, translated here into one of the more classically styled looks in the modern Cocktail Time family.

The white dial and yellow gold tone make it the more formal and traditional option of the pair, especially on its stainless steel bracelet.

Where the ‘Corcovado’ leans into colour contrast, the ‘Daiquiri’ is more restrained, and that could make it easier to wear as a daily dress watch with a useful GMT hand.

The 4R34 GMT movement

Both watches are powered by Seiko’s calibre 4R34, an automatic GMT movement with hours, minutes, seconds, date and second time zone functions.

It runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 41-hour power reserve, which is a familiar and practical specification for an accessible automatic GMT.

The movement is visible through an exhibition caseback, where the wearer can see the rotor and balance at work.

For the Cocktail Time line, the appeal is less about high complication watchmaking and more about bringing a genuinely useful travel function into a polished, approachable Presage package.
