RIMOWA’s Never Still line has always sat in the space between luggage and daily carry, and its latest leather additions sharpen that idea.
The new pieces bring the brand’s grooved design language into backpacks, duffles, a cross-body bag and a zipped tote built for workdays, short trips and the rhythm of moving through a city.
Alongside the bag launches, RIMOWA is also extending Anthracite into its Distinct leather suitcase range.

The Never Still Leather Flap Backpack now arrives in a smaller size and in Mocha, a muted brown shade with a softer, more understated feel than classic black.
Its full-grain leather construction carries an embossed grooved surface, a direct nod to RIMOWA’s most recognisable visual code.
Practical details include a padded back and a suitcase attachment sleeve, keeping it aligned with the needs of commuters and frequent travellers.
The Never Still Leather Flap Backpack Large also becomes part of the permanent collection in Anthracite, a deep smoky grey that joins the existing Black version.
RIMOWA is also adding Never Still Duffle styles in grain leather, offered in Medium and Large sizes in Anthracite.
The Large Duffle is additionally available in Black, giving the most travel-oriented format a more classic option.
Cross-body utility and a tote for work travel
The new Never Still Leather Cross-Body Bag Small takes its cues from the Duffle, but scales the idea down for daily use.
It has a roomy interior, zipped closure, customisable tag and removable webbing strap, with Mocha and Anthracite both available.
The Leather Zipped Tote is the most office-facing addition to the line.
Available exclusively in Black, it’s designed in grain leather as an alternative to a briefcase or backpack.
The zipped interior can hold up to a 13-inch laptop, while the removable webbing strap and suitcase attachment sleeve make it more flexible than a conventional work tote.
The commute as RIMOWA’s new travel story
To introduce the expanded collection, RIMOWA has framed the commute as a kind of travel in its own right.
The campaign was shot across Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Shanghai with local photographers Dana Lixenberg, Daniel Arnold and Feng Li.
Rather than focusing only on departures and arrivals, the imagery looks at quieter in-between moments such as early light through a car window or the texture of a morning walk.
It’s a fitting setting for Never Still, a collection that works best when viewed as part of a daily routine rather than reserved for formal travel.
Anthracite joins the Distinct leather suitcase range
Beyond Never Still, Anthracite now enters RIMOWA’s Distinct range alongside Navy, Taupe and Powder Blue.
First launched in 2023, the Distinct leather suitcase line is made in the Maison’s historic Cologne factory.
The Distinct Cabin uses a precise leather-wrapping technique that preserves the suitcase’s shape while incorporating RIMOWA’s signature grooves.
Its lightly pebbled leather is designed to develop a patina over time, adding a visible record of use rather than trying to erase it.
The suitcase features silver rivets, palladium zips and pullers, colour-matched aluminium corners and a coordinated luggage tag that can be personalised with blind-embossed initials.
It also includes RIMOWA’s stage-free telescopic handle, leather carry handles and the RIMOWA Multiwheel System.
Inside, the Distinct Cabin is finished with monogram jacquard lining and premium leather touchpoints.
Each suitcase comes with a custom-fitted black nylon Suitcase Cover, and the Distinct Cabin is supported by RIMOWA’s Lifetime Guarantee.
