James Bond may be between cinematic chapters, but Omega isn’t waiting for the next tuxedo fitting to return to the franchise’s most recognisable wristwear.
The latest Seamaster Diver 300M Bond releases split the room neatly in two, with blue-dial models for 007 and black or dark-toned executions for Spectre.
It’s a clever turn for a watch line that has been tied to Bond since the Pierce Brosnan era, because this time the appeal isn’t just hero worship.

At a glance
- Omega has introduced four new Seamaster Diver 300M Bond watches across 007 and Spectre themes.
- The steel models use the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806, a 42mm case and distinct Bond or Spectre caseback rotor motifs.
- The platinum-gold limited editions are produced in 77 paired sets and are not sold separately.
The blue Seamaster returns to Bond’s modern origin story
The steel Seamaster Diver 300M “James Bond” is the most direct nod to the watch Pierce Brosnan wore in GoldenEye.
Its 42mm stainless steel case is matched with a blue dial and a titanium bezel insert, giving the watch the familiar colour language that helped define Omega’s Bond era.
The dial carries a laser-engraved wave pattern, a detail that feels especially right on a modern Seamaster because it adds texture without turning the watch into memorabilia.

Omega keeps the skeleton sword hands and luminous hour markers, with blue lume used for the hours, seconds and indices, while the minute hand and bezel pip glow green.
The Bond reference is more discreet than theatrical.
At 12 o’clock, the double baton marker carries a small coat of arms detail, with the black chevron and three gold coins translated in white.

The case keeps the Seamaster’s helium escape valve, while the Naiad caseback hides the movement behind the familiar gun barrel motif integrated with the rotor.
It’s presented in a blue Omega box with a 007 medallion set into the front.
Spectre gets the stronger visual drama
The steel Seamaster Diver 300M “Spectre” shares the same fundamental watchmaking package as the blue Bond edition, but its mood is altogether darker.

Here, the dial is black with a grain pattern that sits close in tone to the black ceramic bezel.
The case, mesh bracelet and movement are carried across, including the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 with a 55-hour power reserve and a five-year warranty.
Omega avoids dial-side gimmicks on this version, which turns out to be the right call.

The drama is reserved for the back, where the rotor is decorated with the Spectre emblem, the octopus-like logo filling the caseback with a villainous confidence that feels unusually wearable.
The same emblem appears again on the black presentation box.
The platinum-gold editions are made as pairs
Omega has also created two limited-edition platinum-gold versions, each produced in 77 pieces and presented as paired Bond or Spectre sets.

These are not sold separately, which makes them less conventional product releases and more complete collector packages.
The Bond limited edition uses a white gold dial with a blue PVD gradient gun-barrel design, paired with a blue ceramic bezel insert and a blue-and-gold barrel logo on the caseback.
The Spectre limited edition answers with a dark grey dial carrying the organisation’s octopus logo, a black ceramic bezel insert and a Moonshine Gold Spectre logo applied to a blackened rotor.

Both limited editions are worn on leather straps, and the presentation sets include an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool, along with cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch, a card holder and a certificate of authenticity.

The interesting thing about this Bond capsule is that Omega hasn’t treated the franchise as a single-note exercise in nostalgia.
The blue Seamaster will make immediate sense to anyone who grew up with Brosnan’s Bond, but the Spectre pieces bring a sharper, more graphic edge that may tempt collectors who usually prefer their film connections kept in the shadows.
