Nomos Club Campus Full Rose and All Olive Make the Case for Everyday Colour

Nomos Glashütte has never treated colour as a seasonal gimmick, and the Club Campus is where that confidence feels most at home.

The new Full Rose and All Olive models continue that idea with bright dials, compact steel cases and a movement upgrade that gives the collection more mechanical substance than its approachable positioning might suggest.

They’re cheerful without feeling disposable, which is exactly where the Club Campus tends to be at its best.

Launched in 2017, the Club Campus has become the casual gateway into Nomos watchmaking.

It keeps the brand’s clean Glashütte design language but loosens the formality with sportier proportions, colourful dials and a more youthful personality.

The collection has also become a popular gift watch, partly because the solid steel caseback can be engraved.

For those who would rather see the movement, Nomos offers an optional sapphire display back on selected versions.

Full Rose and All Olive fit neatly into a line that has already embraced vivid shades including orange, red, blue, green and coral.

The difference here is how wearable both colours feel, even with their strong personalities.

The Club Campus dial remains one of Nomos’ most recognisable layouts.

Its California-style arrangement mixes Roman numerals on the upper half with Arabic numerals below, then adds baton markers, colourful minute numerals and a recessed small-seconds register above six o’clock.

Both new versions keep the fluorescent orange small-seconds hand, a small detail that has become a Campus signature.

Full Rose uses a saturated pink tone that feels warm rather than sugary, helped by white Super-LumiNova numerals and polished rhodium-plated hands.

All Olive is more grounded, with a deep green dial set off by pink minute numerals and yellow outlines around the hour markers.

That combination could sound busy on paper, but it gives the watch a relaxed, offbeat character rather than pushing it into conventional field-watch territory.

The polished stainless steel case is offered in 36mm or 38.5mm, with slim profiles of 8.1mm and 8.4mm to 8.5mm depending on the version.

A narrow bezel, curved lugs and domed sapphire crystal keep the shape elegant, while 100 metres of water resistance makes the watch more useful than its dress-casual appearance suggests.

The DUW 4001 brings more Nomos engineering to the line

The most important change sits behind the dial.

The Club Campus now uses the in-house DUW 4001, a hand-wound calibre that brings the Nomos Swing System into one of the brand’s most accessible collections.

That matters because the Swing System is Nomos’ proprietary escapement, a technical achievement once associated with models higher up the catalogue.

The calibre remains very slim at 2.6mm, runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers approximately 53 hours of power reserve.

It also includes stop-seconds and is adjusted in six positions.

With the display back, the movement shows the expected Glashütte finishing cues, including a three-quarter plate, ribbing, perlage, blued screws and the blue hairspring tied to the Swing System.

The solid back remains the more personal option if engraving is part of the appeal.

The vegan velour straps are well chosen, with beige softening the Full Rose and anthracite giving the All Olive a little more contrast.
